3. Goodbye Stranger
2. All Summer Long
1. Somebody that I used to know

Bad Company - Bad Company (my first “car”)

I Ran - A Flock Of Seagulls (reminds me of the night I asked a girl out for my first date).

You Never Call Me By My Name - David Allen Coe (closing time where I spent a big chunk of my 20’s).

Anything from the Grease soundtrack. 6/7th grade and I can immediately feel exactly what it was like to be 12 when I hear it!

Blue Kentucky Girl by Loretta Lynn. Takes me to my sister and I being very little and singing our hearts out!

Jim Reeves's version of In The Garden--or really any Jim Reeves gospel. I walked many a mile putting my girls to bed listening to this! My dd's even joke that anytime they hear a Jim Reeves song they get sleepy.

And an add on... Battle of New Orleans by Johnny Horton. My Dad-'nuf said :)

The entire War album by U2. Brings back memories of riding the subway to school in the 80s.

Statue of a Fool by Jack Greene. My grandfather's favorite song. I can hear him singing along to it as I type.

The Show Must Go On, by Three Dog Night. It has a calliope in parts, and my sister and I used to dance in circles in front of the 8-Track player after our bath at night. I can still smell the Johnson's Baby Powder and the feel of my damp hair.
