He was trying to get the higher offer... but this does spell a problem maybe...

Yea /churning is getting littered with DP on either getting denied or taking 4 or 5 times huca to get a match

Yep, that's all that is. I got one on my first try too. But did eventually get matched.

Still need to cut her hands out and do her face. The mesh on top is blue and will hopefully have the effect I'm looking for when it's done, hard to photograph it.

I'm losing my mind! New YNAB is a total disaster for me. I've been trying really hard since Jan 1 and it just doesn't work for me. Right now, for example, my SW Premier balance is -10.00...as in a positive balance. That is reconciled in my accounts column. But in the budget it shows a red
-$10 and says I need to budget another $10 to this account. What the what? Another example...disney visa used by DD19 has a reconciled amount of $72.23 balance. Again, correct in the accounts column, but in the budget says red -$337.09!!! Um no, I don't need to budget an extra $264.86 Mr YNAB because I only owe $72.23 as you are aware from my reconciled account!

I need new software recomendations. Auto import is important, and why I'm not just going back to old ynab.

I just wanted to mention, in case you haven't ever worked with YNAB support, that the few times I've needed them they were great at helping with these kinds of things. May be worth seeing if you can "turn the corner" with it.

I love YNAB, but when I was first looking at my options I did think Every Dollar looked good, as someone else mentioned. I didn't use it enough to have a strong opinion on it.

Ugh. So jealous. I’m sitting here with out an MSR and I have a few hundred dollar vet bill tomorrow and summer camps to pay. DH was denied for an AA biz, not sure why. His last card was 8/18.

Super easy as long as it Codes as travel (flights will) you go back and “erase” the purchase. You need $100 min charge and put it in your card. Once it posts if you have enough miles it just clears the charge (or a portion if you want). It gives you 70k miles when you hit the MSR so you can erase $700 in travel charges. We used it at Universal and charged all our meals (and an upgrade to AP) to the room and cleared all the charges. We still have $100 left!!!

Maybe this should be my next card...

I’ve been arguing with support because they took away the red arrow that allowed me to roll DH’s reimbursable work expenses from one month to the next, which has been a whole separate big problem. I have some temporary fixes for that but they aren’t great. I wish it was just ynab 4 + auto import.
They can’t seem to grasp that there is a legitimate reason to roll an expense.

Oh no! I’m sorry. It makes no sense how/why some seem to get easy approvals and others don’t.

My dh has had 4 denials, and except for the CIC, the other three I was easily approved for. And he’s the one making all the money. Makes no sense!!

That's a good question. I think that the Chase lineup of business cards is probably the best small business lineup of any card issuer. They are decidedly aimed at small business owners though so if somebody has no business whatsoever you probably couldn't even get past the application. As far as a "limited small business" goes, I think I'd let them be the judge of that. If you have answered the application questions honestly and they approve you, then obviously you have a business that fits the criteria.

I think that’s the Citi Premier maybe? This ones Barclay. If you don’t have any Barclays you should be good otherwise they are weird about approvals

DH told me tonight that his new promotion means he’ll be traveling more. Still has to use the company credit card, but at least he can get some points for his stays and miles for flying!

I didn’t chime in on the significant other traveling talk the other night. DH and I are used to it. We were long distance for the first 6 years of our relationship, and then he worked several jobs involving lots of travel.

To quote one of my favorite books: “Sometimes I’m happy when he’s gone, but I’m always happy when he returns.”

Just went for the Delta Gold and Delta Platinum cards since I made room by canceling my Delta Gold Biz and SPG Biz. Auto approved for both. No pop-up either. Amex really loves me.

I want Amex to love me like they love you! I have 5 credit cards now and need to make room. Tell me what you are doing exactly. I get waiting at least a year before closing but then what? SM to close? Waiting for AF to post? Do you pay it and then ask for refund?
