Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Dining - Oga’s + All Quick Service Food and Drinks

Ew. I'm done buying that for my kid. Now I wonder how many calories and fat are in it, considering it's mostly sugar, followed by coconut oil. Yuck. No wonder it is so slimy.
what else did you think was in it? It's a sweet coconut/rice milk. Of course it filled with sugar

I would have imagined the coconut and rice milk would be the main ingredients. The fact that sugar and coconut oil are listed first means those are the primary ingredients.
It doesn't taste like either rice or coconut milk so i was not surprised at all. Water is ther only healthy option at any theme park

I kind of think it tastes a bit like coconut milk. Actually, I didn't even know that coconut milk powder existed. I really thought they were using liquid coconut and rice milks, because that would actually justify the price. The fact that these cost $8 and are just rehydrated powder mix is crazy.

I agree. It is an uncomfortable place all around. Disneyland has started putting groups at the bar TWO deep, and making people in the back have to flag down the bar staff to get service. That is unacceptable.

Two deep is unacceptable and a safety hazard. When I went at HS I was at one of the standing tables. I didn’t count people but we all had enough room. No one was doubled up anywhere. It was right after the hurricane though.

This happened to a friend of mine on the Saturday of Labor day weekend, at Disneyland. It was very upsetting for her and her friend. It was not her first visit and she said it made her not want to ever go back.

I don't see how it is a safety hazard. This kind of thing happens all the time at regular bars. As long as the maximum occupancy isn't over the limit, it's not dangerous. Just uncomfortable.

Not sure as this is NOT a typical bar as there is no dancing, or even moving about is discouraged and as far as I could tell no bathrooms. They do indeed have a max occupancy and not sure the count but I can say on opening day when we were there, Disney was "pushing" that number as there were just too many to get in and get out, it took a bit of standing and stopping just to get out as with all of the people, there was no clear walking path for anything, just a mass of humanity. In thinking about it now I had more elbow room getting in GE with EVERYONE then in that tiny "bar"......

Safety hazard because with people one deep there’s barely enough room for the servers to navigate, and guests with no room to set their drink down are more likely to spill it. Also cramming that many people in such a small space makes it more likely someone will fall.

I believe the max occupancy is 138.

I’m reading Crash of Fate. The Tip-Yip is described as flaky fried meat with a spicy red sauce. I guess the owner changed the recipe soon after that moment in the book? :p

Tip-yip just refers to the protein, not the preparation.

Thats my point. The prep in the book includes a spicy red sauce while at Disney its a spicy green sauce.

For those that have been to Oga’s - when you checked in, did they ask to see your ID and the credit card you used to make the reservation? I’ve got a friend who can’t use her Oga’s reservation. I’m hesitant to have her drop it and then me scoop it up, in case someone else grabs it first. Can I just check in as her? The fine print says to bring ID and your credit card, but I wondered if they are actually checking.

Hi all, since it’s been nearly impossible to get an Ogas reservation I’m thinking of just going in the morning first thing during EMH, however I’m much more interested in the main menu rather than the breakfast menu. Can you get fuzzy tauntauns and rancor flights during the breakfast hours or is it all the breakfast food and drink only?

Yes you can get the normal drinks in addition to the breakfast drinks.

I have been searching for weeks for a reservation at Oga's for our February trip. All of a sudden today there are multiple openings on our HS day. Just wanted to share in case this can help anyone else!
