Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I think all GF and Poly rooms are in the same building as the lounge. I also believe this to be true regarding Yacht Club, Wilderness Lodge, and AKL (although many rooms are on a different floor and it can be a looooonnng walk from some). Boardwalk has the cottages which are CL but are separate from the main building, but that is a bookable category. Most of the CL BWI rooms are in the same building as the lounge. You didn't ask about it, but I believe there are some suites at the Contemporary resort that are in the garden wing building but have club access. Most rooms that are separate are a bookable category.

good point I forgot about those CR CL rooms that are in the garden wing. I also think that the GF has some Suites that are in a separate building from the lounge, and there is a separate CL building at the Poly that has its own small lounge but also has access to the main CL lounge that is in a different building.

To be complete, the YC is all one floor - rooms and lounge, like the BC.

The GF and Poly have separate CL buildings, so you would definitely be in the same building, possibly not the same floor. (The GF also have a CL in the main building, same thing though, possibly a different floor). YC and BW regular CL rooms are the same floor as the lounge, there are some deluxe rooms at the BWI that are on a different floor but same building (1 floor down) and cottage rooms that are separate building in a way (you have to walk outside and back in and up to get to the lounge). The WL CL rooms are on the same floor as the lounge unless you add CL at check in, there are delixe rooms that are same building but different floor. At the AKL none of the CL rooms are on the same floor except DVC CL rooms, so they are the same building but 2 floors down.
I don’t think offhand any CL rooms are in a different building Than the lounge except maybe if you consider the garden cottages at the BWI, but many do have rooms on a different floor. Unless I misunderstood your question?
Perfect, so they are all good!

I don’t mind a different floor I just don’t want to have to go outside to get to club level lounge and have to come back. If that makes sense.

This is extremely helpful as well!

I think I’m leaning wilderness for now, I change my mind every day!

They are all good, each one has plusses and minuses in all ways- including price lol! We’ve tried all but AKL and the new CSR (and the CR Tower club). I was going to list my favorites and less favorites, but realized almost all have reasons we loved them. Push to shove RPC and Poly are my favorites, (my sons like CR) and BC my least favorite, but each has its own plusses and I would stay at any again without hesitation.

Then the ones you really don't want are the non-Tower rooms at CR and the cottages at BWI.

I was def debating Poly....

Hey guys! So we were trying to add a last minute CL stay at Gran Destino, prior to the start of our next DVC trip for two nights, but it doesn’t seem to be working out. So I gave up, and instead, booked it prior to the start of our summer DVC trip! We watched some videos last night, and my opinion hasn’t changed on the evening apps, but I’m excited for the breakfast, wine/beer and chocolate! 😂

Sounds like a great trip! :goodvibes

Hammocks at the Poly. What have we done to see the return of such luxuries? Glad they are back after several years.

We loved relaxing in the hammocks and were so disappointed when they took them away. Glad to see them back :cloud9:.

I've caved to the good comments on here and booked a stay at GDT CL in January (following the GF). I'm happy to report that DSS called this afternoon (I missed the call but a message was left for me) offering their services. I know some folks say hearing from DSS is hit or miss, thus my reason for reporting. If I had to guess, it's part of the "newness" of GDT. Not sure if I'll take advantage of their services, but good to know they care~
As to how quickly they reached out to me, I booked on Wednesday, so not a bad turnaround time.

They've never reached out to me. I suspect that has something to do with me being Canadian. Oh well!
