I'll add that Hilton makes it very easy to transfer and pool points. A Hilton Honors member can transfer up to 500k points per calendar year, and receive up to 2 million points each year. You can do this all online, there's no fee to do it, and points are transferred usually in about 24 hours. So, if anyone wants to take advantage of this promotion, P1 can buy up to 160,000 points pre-bonus (total of 320,000 with the 100% bonus), and P2 can buy just as much and combine them with P1 for a sweet redemption.
This is us. We just got ours too for our cruise in Oct. Spending over $600, I'm looking at trips to use them againEveryone's trips sound amazing. We just got passports over the summer for our cruise next year, and now I feel like I should be looking at some more international destinations!
I completely understand...DH is always about 3 (or 4 or 5) trips behind since I have to just let him focus on the next one, lol. I, OTOH, am the opposite and stress if I don't have trips (even just roughly) sketched out for a couple of years...which is why I'm soliciting other peoples' ideas for 2021
Wait...people are spending...$200-$300 on...headphones???? I think I am quite out of touch with normal people these days
MyBose noise canceling headphones (earbuds really) were SO worth it for air travel! I’m sure I spent about $250 on them.Wow!!! I wish I got in on this deal. I'm looking for a good deal on Bose noise cancelling headphones. They work so well in the plane.
Well, as I posted earlier, I have a Vienna, Pargue, Budapest trip planned for late August 2020. So far I only have the flights to and from Europe booked. So I will have 12 days to allocate between these cities. I'm thinking 5 days in Vienna, 4 in Budapest, 3 in Prague. I still need to figure out intercity transportation and hotels. I have a ton of Marriott points and will probably have a significant amount of Hyatt points once DH hits his current spend...so thinking Park Hyatt in Vienna?
Some thoughts on the Apple credit card that some of you were laughing about awhile back (I didn't read the responses... just skimmed the original post):

Thank you. I don't want to do Airbnb given the amount of points I have to spend.we took the train from Budapest to Vienna. I booked the tickets before we left home. Can’t help with hotels; we Airbnb both places
I freaked out and sprinted to her queue when I saw her!OMG. This pic is awesome! Russell x Kevin!
Yes, this is my second try at Glacier. 2018 there were large wild fires at the time we were to go. That trip was planned for end of August which has higher risk of fires. I’m planning for early-mid July to hopefully miss the fires. Thanks, you too! I know you're a big fan of NP too. I'm really not a Vegas person so we'll just hit some highlights and hopefully it will be warm enough for some pool time. I can't remember, is this your second try going to Glacier? First one cancelled because of fires? Enjoy! We went a few years ago...so pretty!!
hey, welcome, pdx is my home airport too.Hi Everyone! I started reading Doctor of Credit a few years ago and jumped right into the fun of traveling on points. We usually spend a week at Disneyland every 2 years. Points have also taken us to San Diego and we have our first Hawaii trip planned for next summer. Our home airport is PDX. My travel party consists of Me, DH, and kids (13, 10).

Has anyone booked British Airways to Hawaii? It looks like I can transfer UR's but then I have to call and book over the phone? As the new date release is set for SW on Dec 11th, I need to make a decision. If I stick with SW, that would be going from PDX to somewhere in California.. have a layover.. and then off to Hawaii. So looking at least 9+ hours of travel. If I can somehow book Alaska Airlines with British Airways, then it would be non stop and way less travel time. Can you tell I am not a fan of long flights? 2.5 hours is usually my limit. Thanks!
