Has anyone received their refund yet?

I cancelled on 04/11. Got the balance payment of $5k today.

No trace of the deposit yet, so back to front from others!

I got a random refund of about 7.5% of total cruise fare for May 11th Magic Transatlantic even though I have not requested a refund. Anyone know if Disney has set a date to request a refund before you automatically get a credit towards a future cruise?

Perhaps. Although I am owed the refund whether they get their port fees refunded or not. Seems like a lot of extra effort on their part to make so many extra transactions.
I 100% agree, you are owed the money and all the trxns seem so strange and wasted effort. Given that DCL returned our port fees 6 month later and we werent in the midst of a pandemic for most of that, you all might be waiting awhile for that last bit, if it is port fees. That's all I was trying to say.

Our 4/30 cruise was canceled last week. We requested a refund on Friday and got all but about $250 of it today. I’m assuming that’s the placeholder we put down. Is that coming separately for everyone else?
Update to my situation, we received our final $250 refund this morning

Finally got my NCL refund today. Took a month and came in installments. Just glad that’s over. Next.....the airlines.

Surprised your airfare is still pending. That was quickest for me.

My airfare refund came quick, about 4 days.
My hotel refunds (through Expedia) took about 2 weeks.
I am at more than a month since first canceling my MSC cruise and requesting a refund. Im uncertain if that "took" because about 10 days later I received a notice that my cruise had been cancelled by MSC and that I needed to select if I wanted a refund or credit. I selected a refund (again).
I wrote one museum about a month ago to request a refund. I just heard back from them last week but no refund yet.

I just received my port fee refund for my 5/2 cruise. The refund was spread across 3 gc's and a cc.

@Gentry2004 I don't know I've already combined the gift cards so I'm not sure. They were all random amounts though

A question for you DCL pros. Feel a little lost over in these parts. 8-)

We were booked to be taking our first cruise on the 4/6 Dream sailing.

On 3/28 I got a random small $ credit back on my credit card - I had not called or done anything at that point.

Sometime the following week (I think it was 3/31) I called and requested a refund. The CM was really shaky on the phone and seemed unsure of the process, had me on hold forever, etc. He told me the refund could take up to 30 days to process. Ok, no worries, all good.

Granted it has only been around 20 days since then, but I have not yet received any additional refund amounts on my credit card. We were traveling with a few other families (separately booked) who cancelled approximately around the same time, they have been receiving refunds in small chunks, as I’ve been reading seems to be the norm from folks on this thread.

TLDR question - is it normal to have not received any refund at this point and I’m just caught up in the randomness of this whole thing? Best to just wait the full 30 days and then call if still nothing?

Thanks for any advice!

I think things got messed up with your return. Especially if you and the other parties booked/ paid the same way. It would depend on how big of a difference that money would make to me in those 10 extra days if I would call now or not. If I werent going to make rent or it otherwise caused a hardship I'd get on it right away. Otherwise if the ten days wouldnt make that big of a difference to me, I dont think there is any risk in waiting the ten additional days to ensure the refund isnt coming as it should.

I appreciate the advice. No hardship on the money, more just itching to sort of “close the file” on the whole thing (literally and figuratively) more than anything else. I’m tired of my “April DCL” file folder sitting here on my desk taunting me and I just want to put it away!

Thanks again.

I get that, for sure! I have my own notes and folders Id like to put in the completed pile! If you have the time to burn on hold I dont think it would cause a problem to call early and if something did get messed up you will get a little jump on the resubmit. <3

My TA canceled on April 10th, got my refund April 20th. So 10 calendar days. Much faster than expected.

I called Costco last Monday 4/13 and cancelled 3 cruises on the dream for September. The refund posted last night, so took exactly one week. I paid 3 amounts to costco for 2 of the cruises and got back those same amounts as refunds - no weird refund amounts or multiple refunds for us. I am only missing $250 from the placeholder on one of the cruises, but it was charged to a different card.

DCL refunded the rest of our money today for our Hawaii cruise. First 2 credits showed April 10 and 6 more credits today completed the refund. Credits ranged from $18 to $4100 and everything in between that.

Grrr. I am so frustrated that some people are fully refunded and I’m going to have to call. We haven’t gotten any new refunds in over two weeks. Something is up.

We got a refund on our Disney Visa card for $553.84 for taxes, port fees etc. on 4/14, but I haven't canceled our 5/11 TA cruise yet. I plan to decide soon whether to rebook a different cruise (Disney is offering $1100 bonus to do so) or to cancel. Norwegian Air canceled my return flight from Barcelona, and I then canceled the flight. I asked for a refund on 4/10, and I've yet to hear back from them. Our Delta flight from Madison, WI to Miami was changed (timing), but not canceled. I may just take the credits with Delta to have available for two years unless they cancel my flight before 4/10.
