And Kim is starting to open us back up, but the numbers in our county keep on going up... And Rock Island county, right across the river, has more positive cases than we do... They need to be on the same page and open everyone back up or close the borders and keep Illinois on their side of the river...

I am so tired of this. JB is already talking about closing schools in fall. WHAT???? How can he even talk about that now???? It's April. He's such a jerk...
He seriously needs to open up more than state parks, fishing holes, and golf courses. Our economy has tanked and he's doing this to spite Trump.

I'm joining in. A bit late. Wish it were under better circumstances, but I'm enjoying reading about the better, normal times.

The minute I read that your Timmy was doing Fall Advantage, my heart sank. I had many friends who were coming back for that, one who I hadn't seen since August and had been talking to everyday since and who had gotten a dream role. When they ended up cancelling that group too, it was like CPs being sent home all over again. My heart goes out to everyone affected. At the same time, I remind myself every day that by Disney doing what they did we are one extra step closer to normalcy. Every time quarantine is extended, it's more likely that we will slowly be let back into our regular everyday lives.

Best wishes to you guys! Glad we got to meet up again when we did all things considered. Stay safe!

Cute! We made Lapu Lapus at home too but didn't do the pineapples. Next time we will add that step. The one thing I noticed in my recipe, was that they said to float the last ounce of rum on top. Maybe that will give it more of the rum taste?

It really is a small world sometimes, I also have family in Pana and have shopped in Decatur often!

Joining in on the small town Illinois crowd - we have in-laws from Moweaqua, which is north of Pana.

I just realized that I can make ADR's for our October trip. We cancelled our July trip and are really hoping things are close to normal by fall, if not sooner. Somehow, going to Disney when CM's have to wear face masks seems a little depressing.

Hi everyone!
I hope you all are staying safe and wearing those masks...Anyway, I'm so over all of this and cannot wait for life to get back to normal...With that being said, Joe colored my hair today AND he did an awesome job!!!! Now, if I could just get a trim and a manicure, I'd be all set. LOL!

Anyway, I thought I'd try to spread a little cheer and let you in on some of our upcoming Disney trips (I pray they will not be canceled). I'm trying to stay positive and make plans and change them like I would for any trip...Sooooo, we currently have a reservation for my birthday trip at the end of July. We are starting off the first night at the Riviera Resort and then moving over to PORS for 3 more nights in a Royal Room with a River View. Originally, we had CL at the WL booked...Then 3 nights at Pop in a Preferred Pool View room...See, some things never change, even with uncertainty. LOL! We are also spending time in St Pete before and after Disney. I was able to book round trip airfare on SW for free with our travel vouchers from our canceled May trip.

We also have a September reservation at Pop Century for 6 nights in a Preferred Room. We will be spending time in St Pete before and after that trip as well. That airfare was also free with the SW travel vouchers from May...The original price of BOTH flights would have been $48. each way pp. #winning SOOOOOO, if you need airfare for an upcoming trip, check out SW!!!!!!!!
