my BMO partners are different. They are B.C. stores like thrifty and Safeway liquor. I am from Ontario but was visiting BC and may have opted in when I was there. Now every time I look at participating partners (even though I am home) I still get these West coast stores. Grrrr. I hope sobeys and metro work for me!

I think it's a glitch in the system currently that has nothing to do with your trip to BC, I don't think it would have any influence based on where you were when you opted in. However, this entire promo seems to be full of quirks! Try using the opt in link again and see if you're able to see different sponsors from that site.

Thanks for your reply. I tried to opt in again but when I click link it says I opted in already. I am hoping if I use them at metro etc here in ontario it works and I get the 500

I meant there's a link on the opt in page, that allows you to see the terms and conditions if you click on that, without opting in again. you'll be able to see the list of sponsors. I'm not sure if it's different or not but for me it automatically selected Ontario whereas the one from the coupon keeps reverting to Manitoba for me

1. Mastercard, not sure how much I've used it for yet but know i can get to the $500 before time runs out
2. Online - once again, it's a big promo so it didn't work for me BUT i did complete my Amazon order
3. ?? Maybe try the Rona one? I have enough for one transaction and we could use a new smoke detector
4. This is when i wish i could still buy gift card at Shell, everything there is too $$ and we get gas at Petro Can
5. I have NO idea

I'm not even going to attempt the 2nd card this time around, not worth the effort.

Just make sure your AM number is on there. There isn't a code to put in. As long as you are spending at least $60 you are good.

Hi Jacqueline, we have room on our tank for 25L of gas. Can stop at Shell anytime for you. Also my DH is interested in a bottle of whiskey at the LCBO that would count for an offer. Happy to use your Air Miles #. Just let me know!

Based on other people experience, I reloaded a GC I already had in my amazon account with 175$ and got the 50AM Megamile bonus from airmiles shops. I don't need anything yet so still haven't spent it but looks like I got 1 offer down just by loading my GC (175$ because I had issue with airmilesshops not giving me all the AM I was owed from Well.ca because of non-taxable items in my order and I figured out that they assumed I had taxes in the total so this time I made sure if they remove taxe % from my GC amount I was still over 150$ -- no way I could argue with them for that one so I wanted to be safe).

The discussion about buying gift cards and being unsure if you'll be able to use them is why we have never bought cards that we don't think will be used within the next 30 days. There's zero recourse if the business shutters, or stops taking gift cards online! We just don't like having money tied up in cards and this just confirms that. Sorry for those of you who are losing a Sobeys location, gaining a store you won't shop at & needing to travel further than normal to be able to shop

Jacqueline, I am the same about most gift cards, although I do load $$ on my Kobo account for ebooks. With all the uncertainty right now, I would hate to have a gift card for a store that is closing and I have lost my hard earned money that is sitting on a gift card. I have also been reading a lot of horror stories about people buying Disney Gift Cards in the US at BJ's, Target, etc to save 5%, and using the gift cards to pay off their Disney cruise and now that DCL cancelled their cruise, the refund goes back to the form of payment - the gift card. There were people upset that they now had thousands on Disney gift cards and have no idea when they might be able to use it. I know everyone is different, but for us, unless we know we are going to use a gift card right away or within the next month, we don't buy one.

Oh, I agree with the gift card thing. I guess I figured Sobeys wasn't closing that location until October so I had some time to use it, and I only got one $150 card... but they sure are clearing the shelves early, I mean there is still over a month to go! I'll use it up this week or next I guess, I used $25 so far, I'm sure I can use the rest easily enough. Provided they have some meat and frozen stuff or cans to add to my stock.

I thought about that with the Disney giftcards, I did that last summer to pay for my trip, if it had been cancelled I would have been stuck with a lot of money on giftcards. Though I imagine I will do the same for whenever my next trip is. It was a savings.

Did anyone do the first offer from Childrens Place? It was the 'spend $35 on jeans or Uniform items, get 15 AM's'. I did this offer and made absolutely sure it was correct but they only posted 2 AM's.

I don't tend to do the ones that require specific items of clothing because they have never posted properly for me, I prefer the general spend so much get AM rather than on specific items The miles may still post... but likely you will have to "fight" for them.

Well, the dh went out with our dd on the weekend....when they come home, they are carrying a " children's place " bag. Sigh....he went there, and did NOT use the mega miles coupon. So I am calling the store today to see if they will refund everything from my receipt then ring it in again, using the mega miles coupon. Wish me luck on that one.

Good thing, they have good quality clothes and when they are on sale, they are a great deal. So the grandbaby will be getting lots of clothes from Gramps and Grammie lol.

@Pumpkin1172 the Children's Place coupon for spend $60 started Monday so if they went on the weekend it was a different one with spend $35 on certain items. Neither coupon needs to be entered, they are automatic.

For amazon, do textbooks count? I though books didn't count with them. But you could purchase a gift card (reload it really) and that would count (as long as it is over $150, I'd go for $175 to be safe as @isabellea mentioned up there a bit.

No there isn't BUT I have never, not once, had trouble getting the miles once the deadline passes, or in the case of these promos, once the miles post incorrectly. Just make sure you have your information stored in a safe place and trust that it will work out. I'm in the same position BTW, my Amazon orders didn't work and I'll just wait to chase them down.
Make sure to keep detailed records that include the following. You should be able to find all of this information in the email confirmation of your order.

• date of transaction
• name of store
• pre-tax & shipping total
• Any & all emails pertaining to your orders
• if there were any multiplier offers that apply to your purchase -- i've kept a running list of those in post #5 on the first page
