Late to the party but I was busy crying all over how my favorite show won literally all the comedy Emmy's tonight. I'm so happy we took a chance on it when I wanted to watch something 'lighter' than the heavier shows we had been watching. It's such a delightful show that deserves all the awards it won and then some.

It's the perfect show to binge during this crazy time. Full of heart and laughter.

I used subtitles for Derry Girls because the Irish accents were so heavy. Another show I highly recommend. It's laugh out loud hilarious!

Agreed! I’ve watched one episode and have to put time between them because it’s so heavy.

But I think her reaction is proof they don’t know ahead of time!

Late to the thread, I do think they did a great show considering what they had to work with. I wish the Good Place had won, It is a great show.

Also Better Call Saul. And I was wondering if Jennifer Anniston went crazy on the botox, but her face was so weird.

Seriously, is any other show going to win?

It reminds me of when Black Panther won the Golden Globes. Everyone in the entire movie got on stage. I thought it won because so many of them were able to vote for it, that it ended up with more votes than any of the other nominees.

IIRC, while Black Panther was nominated for 3 Golden Globes, they didn't win any of them.

While I adore The Good Place, Schitt's Creek is AMAZING and they deserve every single award!

A friend recommended Schitt's Creek, and I couldn't get through the first few episodes. Then my sister (who watches mostly HGTV) insisted that I plow through. I'm so glad she did, and I'm a total fan now.
