"LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLELLLL"So 6am EST on Monday? Good luck!
We were there for Be Our Guest. As I recall, we got in line at about 10:20 for an 11 AM opening. They started taking us early, maybe at 10:40? The lines only grew after that. Got really long later in the day.Anybody ever gone to opening day at a restaurant like this? We'll be there on the 20th and are considering it. Wondering if we'll have to rope drop Epcot to have a chance, or if we can swing by later... also wonder if they'll be utilizing the virtual walk-up list on MDE.
agreed, if we dont get a lunch rez we just wont do it. Anyone know what time they swap from lunch to dinner?I was so looking forward to eating dinner and experiencing Space 220. $ 79 pp is a lot of money for dinner, and getting steak or lobster will be even more. Lunch at $ 55 was expected, but the time it will take at lunch will really cut into the day. While the menu sounds great, a bill of $ 400 or so for four people is a bit much. Darn.
Agreed. Uninspired menu and the pictures don't even look appetizing. We'll probably just check out the lounge so we can see the restaurant. For 2 years I was looking forward to this restaurant. But these prices on these menus and it’s not even a character meal? That’s a big nope for us.
Great point!I would! And now that MDE has the Walkup Wait List capability, it should be easier than it ever was before. Sort of a VQ for a meal.
Of course I’ll be first in line when ADRs are released, but a $79 prix fixe with flat iron as the steak cut is a sign of what this menu is all about…

Yes but it's more than that. This allows Disney to maximize margin for each diner. No one buying the $25 burger like they might at other table service restaurants.Doesn't surprise me that it's pre-fixe. Will prevent those from coming and ordering a drink just for the experience.

The burger at Space 220 is going to set you back $55, just like the Seared Tuna, Bluehouse Salmon, and Flat Iron Steak.
