Not that we’d use points or cash to book this, at least anytime soon…..but it should be interesting to see what the points cost is when the chart comes out. One can only imagine! Disney Collection in general is a terrible use of points, I bet this is even worse. Who wants to use three years worth of points (banked, current and borrowed) for two nights? No thanks!

I don’t think it’s been announced yet how far out bookings will go when it opens to the general public, but Club 33/Golden Oaks could only book through 9/30/22 yesterday, so I’ve a hunch that may be the cutoff on 10/28.

Usually must be activated as you are currently not a member and will not show up in the system as an active passholder.

Okay, the reason why I ask is that I can book AP discount hotel rooms with an unactivated pass. Was hoping the system works the same way.

What could possibly be the reason Disney is not releasing the Points Charts and the sample rates for the suites prior to tomorrow's presale? Seriously, do they want these calls to all last an hour or more while people are trying to decide what they can afford to do on the spot? Are they nuts??

Wondering what the Disney Visa dates will be, since DVC and AP can only book through the 4th. It would be so cool to book May 4th but I'm sure that's the first date that will go, even though it will be the most expensive, no doubt.

Well that may work if they are giving your resort rooms...have only had experiences with passholder preview stuff without activation

Agreed. This whole thing feels very slapped together with no concrete information being communicated. None of the emails we received mention a time when we can call and based on several threads the phone number to call is also a moving target.

we were wanting to book the 1 bedroom suite but can’t find pricing. Honestly last night we decided we weren’t going to try to book at all. The information is piecemeal, I suspect the CMs on phones tomorrow will be given inconsistent instructions, and the whole thing will be a mess. We’ll just wait and go later in 2022.

It’s not like they had several years to plan the release of booking or anything.

Presale already started and has not been off to a great start (I posted in the other thread yesterday). We were on hold for 5.5 hours and booking the room took 1.5 hours. Was able to get the Grand Captain’s Suite for one of the March dates and it was just shy of $12K for 4 adults.

Since Member Services doesn’t open until 9, I’m really hoping the points charts get released early tomorrow morning. What a waste of everyone’s time if not!
