My Yorkie was sick the last few days but when I got home (from Disney) earlier he was all excited and happy, took his walk out back and ate some food. DD had texted me he hadn't eaten in several days.

He will be 13 this year. Will be keeping an eye on him as I have noticed decline. Vet says he's doing fine for his age. I guess I'm doing fine for my age also.
I had to drop her off (no regular appointments) but she’s in bad shape. When I pick her up she always gives me kisses and no kisses today and she felt limp. Made her scrambled egg and she wouldn’t touch it.

And I thought I could pick up the garage fridge in my van but that won’t work. My ex is going to get it for me. Just having an all around craptastic week.

ETA: She has rotary nystagmus and very high blood pressure. They are trying to understand why (could be endocrine issue, kidneys, etc.) but they will send her home with anti-nauseau meds and blood pressure meds. I thought her leg could no longer support her so dizziness sounds slightly better since if they can control that she won't fall non-stop. The biggest challenge is going to be keeping the puppy away from her so she can stay calm and rest.

I PCd a CSR to a Flex in January 2022 and opened a CSP for the larger sign up bonus. I have a bunch of UR that I want to use for flights for four people this summer. Should I PC the CSP (or another Chase card) to a CSR to get the 50% on using UR rather than the 25% with the CSP? I think the difference in points would be 29,720 less with the CSR if I did my math right. Thoughts?

When did you open the CSP? You can’t PC it until you have held it for a year.

I want to use my Amex Plat to pay for a SW flight that's $141 and want to trigger the credit. If I get a $50 GC, and pay the rest with the card, is it likely to trigger the credit?

It should. But do you have a $200 airline credit to use? If so, just book flights and cancel for credits and use them. That way you aren’t out any money nor need to get a SW GC.

Make sure you've chosen SW as your airline for the $200 Plat airline credit first. I don't know if that large of a ticket price ($141 as a single charge) will trigger the incidental airline credit. If I were you, I would buy one <$100 one-way SW flight (from anywhere to anywhere, as long as it's under $100). Then cancel that flight in order to get SW travel funds. Then use those travel funds (as one of the three payment methods you're allowed) to buy the ticket you actually want, and use your Amex Plat for the rest of the ticket (as long as the rest of the balance due is <$100).

I'm wondering if I should get a garage fridge tomorrow. If I did that I'd be more inclined to get my current fridge repaired (because if it broke again I would have a back up while waiting to replace it). I'm just really struggling with figuring out how to function without a fridge for a week. DD says I'm being dramatic.
I always have a basement/garage fridge. Last fall I had 4 fridges at once. Moved into house and brought my basement fridge, old owners left their basement fridge (side by side which I hate). After 2 weeks I couldn't stand the small top freezer one in the kitchen and bought a new French door one like I had in the last house. I gave away the one from the kitchen and had 2 in basement until my sister's garage fridge broke. So I'm back to 2 and I have no idea how anyone has enough room in a counter depth fridge. They seem so tiny. I guess I have too many condiments 🧐
No, but try Twitter for assistance.
SW Twitter is the best.

My problem was the freezer--especially since I switched the dogs over to Farmer's Dog which sends me a month of food for two dogs at once that is kept frozen until use. Fridge never was an issue for me. But I'm a ketchup/bbq sauce only persion:) It's kind of crazy the garage fridge I got is basically the same size as the counter depth fridge (22 cubic feet). I really wish I didn't have to have counter depth, but even that barely fits in the space I have.

If it were me....and those were the only two options - then I'm spending the 38k URs.

I'm not particularly happy with SW right now either - but 95k pts and a CP can take you a lot of places - and I am optimistic that SW will gradually improve routes again over the next few years.
thanks for the input...... so those SWA are more valuable than the UR's to you? Or can I count them a 1:1 comparison for this example

I have 28 cu ft in kitchen and probably 22-24 in basement. Full. Lol. I don't have an island or anything in kitchen so ok if fridge sticks out a bit. But I do buy some stuff at Costco in large quantities and I cook a lot of international food with many sauces and condiments. But the basement fridge is mostly Gatorade, beer and wine. :drinking1

I was struggling with fridge issues in 2020. Had to wait a month to get my new one. I got the 28 cubic feet and even with that, my 5 cubic feet stand alone chest freezer is always full of something. Came home from my trip (only gone a week) and DD had instacarted half of Costco.

I was getting to the point where I was shopping and managing food to eat and use the existing freezer space, but that's all down the drain now until we eat down this new supply.

I'm lucky in that my kitchen has the space for all sizes of fridge. One of my reasons for my 'new' kitchen was when I had to buy the last fridge I was restricted by the space available in my existing kitchen, so we renovated the attached sun room which prior to being a sun room was an open porch/deck area into a kitchen. Best decision ever. Now I want to do it over again.

Redoing my kitchen is my next big project--maybe once dd graduates (but I also need a new car once she graduates). Mine is a small U with not a lot of cabinets. I think I'll knock down the wall into the dining room and expand it since I have never once used my formal dining room. I'd love an island, room for a bigger fridge, more storage space, etc.

Pros / Cons of pulling AUs off of cards? Any credit impact?

Hubby and I have ended up each with a Freedom Flex with the other as AU. And, when he PCs a CSP this month, we'll have a set of Freedom unlimited as well. All things being equal, I'd rather pull each of us off of the other's card. He can spend on his flex, I spend on mine, and we don't have to leave little stickers on our cards to remember which is which.

Is there a downside (short or long term) to removing AUs?

I was successful opening my account in branch today. I have a print out showing the promo, and the banker verified that the offer was attached.
I'm worried that what I was given doesn't show the promo code anywhere. But I did confirm with the banker twice that she applied it and I have a sheet that says what I need to receive to get the bonus (but doesn't specify the bonus)
