Yes, actually, same! 😂 DH has no idea what cards he even has, let alone how to log into them LOL. For some reason I thought the first time to link them you had to call. Is that not the case? Can I SM to do this whole thing? If so, you just saved my life 🤣 literally. It’s like pulling teeth to get him to call for stuff.
Do you mean to merge or to link with yours to transfer? To merge you don’t have to call or SM. Once to transfer I had to call, the 2nd time I did it SM. After I merged them it just somehow linked to my account.

Question...is this feasible? If we have UR,and transfer to United, then book a flight using those points on a partner airline (Asiana) what rules apply to the booking? United rules (can be refunded) or Asiana (refund costs $200) ? Is anyone familiar with Asiana at all? (again Korea trip) it seems that all the fares on their website have that fee. Thanks.... the problem I'm finding is I can find a fare that's decent on the Asiana website, but not on United site(much pricier) when looking at using miles. Any tips?

oh Also..... has anyone here transferred UR-United? how long does it take? thanks

You can try SM from DH account to ask if they would transfer URs to your account. It has worked for many but I know some people have been told they still need to call. Had to call/SM multiple times because Chase transferring URs still didn’t link our accounts until after we had merged our personal & biz accounts

I see my Giftcards.com purchase from MARCH is finally showing pending but for only 2191 which is just the 3x my purchase. I did this when the AA portal was offering the additional 1k miles for purchases over $300. I emailed them about it. For those that waited forever like me, did you get the additional 1k?
Like you, I had to originally open a ticket for my points to post. They eventually did. Two weeks ago the 1000 Spring Forward points posted as well. So I think you are probs on the right track, you just have to wait for those pending points to post, if I had to guess.

I typically only transfer UR's from my cards to DH's CSR which has been saved in my account for years now. Now, I need to transfer from UR's from his CSR to my CSP so I can transfer them to my Hyatt account and book a stay. I have a lot more Hyatt points than DH so it makes sense to do it this way. However, I can't see where I can add my CSP to DH's account. Can I SM them to do this or do I need to call? I hesitate to fool around with the saved cards as I don't want to mess something up.

I have had great luck SM. I just say something like, Please transfer this many UR from my account ending in xxxx to my spouse's account xxxxx. I usually add a blip the first time that we are members of the same household

I don’t really have any new cards I feel like opening right now. I am kind of trying to plan where I am going from here.

I do have the get 20,000 to add someone to my platinum. I’m thinking about adding DH. Any downside to this? Does it go on his credit report? Do I have to start a new log in for him? He has never had an Amex and doesn’t really play the credit card game so I don’t like doing to much with him.
Just seems like an easy way to get some MRs

I finally got an Amex pay over time offer on my Vanilla Platinum!

And I would like to get a high value SUB for a Platinum at some point. I gave up the gold card with that in mind but they just tease me by sending snail mail 150k offers to my younger DD who could care less about this hobby.

Congrats on the offer! I did finally get 20K for it on my gold while I had it.

Do you have any 13yo or older kids? That was beneficial to my youngest DD as it really upped her credit score when she needed it.

Yes, it counts on his credit report. Doesn't it cost to add a plat user, unless you do a gold card for them? I would think for your husband it would be great for travel such as lounge access with his own plat but I think it cost 175 while gold was free? Anyway, check everything I've written because I don't keep up too much with platinum as I don't have one and until I get a shot at the 150k I won't app for it.

Log in - yes. Create a new one and their offers are in addition to yours on their card. I use my DD's AU card all the time to take advantage of the offers and tell her what to buy on it that will give a greater benefit than her own cards.

There’s a support offer with 150k and 10x on restaurants. Might have to try different links, browsers, incognito, VPN, etc.

Try the link for the AMEX Plat in this article - 150k plus 10x on dining...

Well apparently DH is in AmEx pop up jail. He's only ever had one Am Ex and it was years ago. I tried applying for the Gold 90K offer for him and got the pop up. On to Plan B I guess!

Sometimes it's the offer or the card. If there's another gold off you could try it or try a different card completely.

Did his relationship with them and that card end ok?

DH and I were supposed to go on a weekend trip. He booked the hotels (one night springhill suites; two nights hyatt place) on points (hes Marriott titanium and hyatt Globalist). Now because of work he can't go. I'm the second name in both reservations. I have no stairs anywhere. Can I still check in if I go with a girlfriend? Will it cause issues?

You'll have no problem. I do this all the time. Usually when they ask how many keys I want I just reply "go ahead and give me 2 I can give DH's his when he gets here". At least that way it seems like he's coming although I don't think any of them care.
