Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Coming to EPCOT During the International Food and Wine Festival

This year, you can celebrate the Halloween season at EPCOT with Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. We’ve seen a similar scavenger hunt (that has the same name) at Disneyland Resort in the past, but now you can catch it during EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival in Disney World from September 29th-October 31st (while supplies last).
Is this replacing Remy's Hide and Squeek? Or was that never I thing and I'm not remembering correctly?

RUMOR:

Disney Considering Afternoon Entry Windows for Annual Passholder Park Pass Reservations, No Impact Expected for Park Hopping

According to BlogMickey.com sources, Disney is considering adding “afternoon entry windows” to the Disney Park Pass reservation system for Annual Passholders. While plans are being thrown around, nothing here is considered final, so take it with a grain of salt.

Recent updates to the Disney World website could indicate that Disney will implement entry windows for the Disney Park Pass system that would apply to Annual Passholders. Some of the ideas being tested are a 12pm entry window and a 5pm entry window in addition to an “all-day” entry window that begins at park open.
One way that Disney could use the new system is to devote a small ratio of “all-day” entry windows for Annual Passholders per day and a larger ratio of 12pm or 5pm (or any other time of their choosing) to spread out demand at their theme parks. Reportedly, the new entry window Park Passes would not count against your Annual Pass type allocation. That is, unless you get an “all-day” Disney Park Pass, a half-day Park Pass would not count against the number of Disney Park Pass reservations that you’re allowed to hold at one time.
It’s important to note that the current rumor that we’re reporting on does not include a Park Hopping Disney Park Pass requirement. That means that if you get an “all-day” Park Pass, you will still be able to hop to any park of your choosing at 2pm without the need to make additional Park Passes for the parks you’d like to visit. It’s assumed that a half-day Park Pass would also allow Park Hopping after 2pm, but that is less clear.

Recent updates to the Disney Park Pass portal on the Disney World website include updated language that is meant to be dynamic based on what Park Pass type you will select. In the screenshot below, you can see that a “Day Visit” label has been added to indicate that you are selecting an “all-day” Park Pass. Disney is reportedly considering the verbiage of “Afternoon Entries” to indicate that you would be selecting a Park Pass that doesn’t include entry before a specific time.

It’s also important to note that these are entry reservations, not time frames that you are allowed to visit before being kicked out of the park. If you get a “Day Visit” (“all-day” Park Pass), you won’t be asked to leave when the 12pm or 5pm entry windows open. Instead, think of the Afternoon Entries as the earliest possible time you can enter. You’d be able to enter a theme park anytime after your entry window opens.

Ultimately, this sounds like a system that would allow Disney to further control when a Passholder might be able to visit a theme park.

So long as the partial day options don’t drastically reduce the number of all day allotment for off site passholders this could be beneficial when it comes to planning for Epcot concert as it hurt not to go to Epcot every weekend for festival of the arts like pre March 2020

It makes sense to get the new productions rehearsed and mv ready as I’m sure it’s harder than to re block an existing show for a new auditorium

Where’s My Car? New App Feature Coming to Disney Parks

car-locator-1200x675.jpg

The feature will first launch at Walt Disney World Resort this summer and will be available at Disneyland Resort later this year.

Car locator is a complimentary feature that uses location technology to find and save your parking details. The feature functions best when you enable Location Services, Bluetooth, and Notifications on your mobile device.

The feature will be available at all four Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs, Disney Water Parks, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. All you have to do is open your My Disney Experience app and tap the car locator card on your home screen—or you can use the Feature menu (☰) for access.

After that, follow the prompts to enter your parking information. If you choose to enable location permissions on your device, car locator can help fill in the details for you. When you’re ready to leave, return to car locator for your parking information.

In addition to helping you find your car at the end of the day, you can tap into a variety of other convenient features to make your Disney visit easier! From mobile merchandise checkout and mobile food ordering to the direct-to-room service at Disney Resort hotels, the My Disney Experience app helps free up more time for you to enjoy attractions and experiences. And if you haven’t already, be sure to check out the MagicMobile service, which is a great contactless way to enter the theme parks and enjoy other helpful features like linking your Disney PhotoPass photos.
I will just stick with my old method:

So in 2 days at EP I need to complete the Pluto challenge, Remy's challenge, and Emile's challenge....hmmmm...can I do it or do I need to flip my 3rd MK day for a 3rd EP day?????

Kinda Disneyland Paris and Disney Cruise news, Flight Force Rollercoaster at Disneyland Paris' Avengers Campus links the other marvel offerings around the world. In the queue, they show Iron Man trying to contact several heroes to help out. They show Ant Man at the Ant Man and the Wasp Nano-Battle attraction at Hong Kong, Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Ms Marvel at the World of Marvel on the Disney Wish & I've not seen all of it but the Rocket Raccoon clip in the second vid has him saying he's not on Earth, so potentially a Cosmic Rewind link?

I have a few questions about DVC:
1. Can you only use the points that are available when you log in and it shows you your number of vacation points?
2. Or can you use the full number of points that are available starting December 2022 even if my trip is this year?
3. Can I change locations of where I am staying even though the trip is already booked?

You can use both your current use year points, and borrow from next year’s allotment of points. You can definitely change locations of your booked trip! Last year I was able to change my resort three days before I was scheduled to check-in! Enjoy!

Assuming you have a December Use Year, you 'earn' your 2022 points on December 1, 2022. It doesn't matter when you book, just when your vacation is.

If you're taking a trip in November 2022, this is still in your 2021 year. Very odd, right? But that's the way it works. You can use all points in 2021 and borrow 2022 points.

If you're taking a trip in December 2022, you can use all points in 2022 and borrow 2023 points.

You can always cancel a trip. You get your points back, so you can book a new location.

To add to bbeagle's response:
If you have a trip booked at WDW for a resort but you want to stay at another resort, you can keep your booking and then waitlist for the resort you want. If your waitlist comes through, then your existing reservation is modified automatically for the waitlisted resort. For example, my home resort is BLT. Let's say I make a reservation there and decide I want to stay at the Poly instead. If there are rooms available, I can just make the change by cancelling the BLT reservation and rebooking at Poly. If there are no rooms available, I can waitlist for the Poly to replace my existing reservation at BLT if a room becomes available at Poly.
