If Bay Lake can pass at low 130’s I feel like my Copper Creek should have gone through at 150!

Awesome snag on the BLT!
most definitely, considering BLT direct is more expensive that CCV. My guess is it's a reflection of demand for direct. If you compare the two resorts, BLT is $275 direct and CCV is $250. While BLT is debatably more desirable due to it's location on the monorail loop, CCV has it's own cult-like following and has 8 more years left on the contract. I think the direct demand for the 2060 resorts will continue to decline, despite the periodic incentives, especially at these absurd direct prices. My thinking might change if DVC hits it out of the park with BLT's refurb in 2024.

Not a duplicate - two contracts bought from the same seller. Also just had an offer accepted for $130 on BCV - just need to sign the contract today and then will update - hopefully passes ROFR!

OMG OMG OMG! I just got an email saying we PASSED rofr! We are going to be BLT DVC owners! (our very first contract!) I can't believe it!!!
Congratulations!!! I have my first contract waiting for signatures and then off to ROFR. Hoping for similar success!

That is a good price.. may I ask what was the original offer?
On mine for BLT? It was listed with Fidelity for 149pp x 150 pts = 22,350. I had $20,000 to offer, which worked out to 133.33pp. I honestly didn't even realize how low the ppp was until after they accepted my 20,000. I was very nervous it wouldn't pass rofr!

So my title company if First American Title Company California (through Fidelity). Anyone have experience with them? Are they fairly quick to close with no issues? I am hoping it's smooth sailing! I'm not sure I am still going to believe this is all for real until it's 100% done! Are there any possible snags we can run into from here? Or is it pretty much a done deal? I'm a very nervous first time buyer here! Thanks!

Just put an offer in on another contract, only to find our agent is off today 😅 Not a nice feeling guys, that’s me not sleeping tonight haha!
I started making offers about two weeks ago and couldn't stop until I finally got one accepted. DVC was occupying most of my mind space.

It was listed for $163; my first offer was $146. They came back at $158. I was happy with anything under $160 honestly since it was exactly what I wanted and had banked points.

Couldn't pass up this opportunity!

my goodness these prices! I've seriously considered putting an offer for BCV but today, I was able to easily secure a 8-night stay at BCV at the 7 month window so I'm not sure if I really need to own there. Given, my stay is in late August so probably not as hard as during F&W but I can't help but to want to buy something in this current market!

There are a lot of snags and I would caution you to be patient.

The sellers have to return the documents and there is a lot more for them to have signed and notarized than a buyer. I signed a contract and wired money on 12/30 for one contract, buyer (lives in HI) still has not returned docs. Can be even longer for Intl sellers.

Once all of that gets finalized then you have to wait for Disney to transfer the documents. My deed was recorded on 12/20 and I still do not have a member number. Some people get lucky and get it sooner.

You need to set an internal expectation that it could be another 2 months before you have points and be happy if it goes more quickly than that.
