Much different experience for me this morning. At 10:30 there was a short line. When I got up there she said there was no walk up / waiting line for the lounge/bar. The only thing you could get were reservations for the pre-fixe menu. Most people there walked away after hearing that.

You can hold onto them and upgrade them to an annual pass or add more days onto it when you can take a longer trip, and just buy the 2 day tickets for this trip. You cannot use one ticket to "upgrade" to multiple cheaper tickets.

Can you hop at any time now or is it still only after 2 pm?

If you have a dining reservation there are people with signs directing you to the line for this. They scan your band, confirm your reservation and you are let in around 7:30 - 7:45 for any reservation up to 9 am. I usually use this early time to take photos in an empty MK.
