Had a busy day yesterday. Kitchen faucet broke so I had to replace that. Then my computer monitor died and had to replace that. Good thing today is payday.
I didn't post pics of DS and his birthday Crocs....
This is one of the only photos of him standing still in them:
Once they were on, he was off like a shot!
I pretty much had to pry them off him because he wanted to sleep in them! Luckily the easy way to get him out of these things is to show him his Keen shoes...he'll gladly swap because he's a shoe hoe!

Does anyone else here listen to the DIS Unplugged podcast? I've been listening for nearly a year and really enjoy it. It is hosted by Pete (the guy who started the DIS) and several other folks who help run the site. The Disney info is good and the banter is a lot of fun.
(For those who haven't heard of a "podcast" before - it is sort of like a talk radio show on the internet. You can listen on your computer or download it to your MP3 player.)
I download it every week and then listen to it as I drive to and from work (and chaufering DS8 around). My MP3 player plugs into a little device that broadcasts the sound to my car radio. If you click on the orange bar in my signature, it will take you to the podcast's homepage....

Was woken up at 4:45am this morning by an earthquake. It was a 4.2 and centered only about 8-10 miles from me. This one lasted quite a while, 15-20 seconds I'd guess. They are usually shorter than that. So far no reports of damage and if there have been aftershocks, I haven't felt any.

Monica why do they always happen early in the morning before the alarm goes off. We have had very few in the daytime (except the big one you had) but most are in the morning time.
Congrats on the vaca Roger.....but.....Vegas in AUGUST????
HOT! HOT! HOT!
DW and I just got some good news that FIL and MIL agreeded to watch the kids for a couple of days in August. That means that DW and I can actually get away without the kids. It has been almost 2 years since that has happened. Soooo its.....
Vegas baby.
That would scare the bejeebers out of me! Glad everyone is OK and no damage reported.
T.G.I.F.!!!
I am so glad it's Friday. This was a difficult week.
Heading up to Napa Valley on the motorcycle this weekend. The weather will be perfect and I can't wait!
That does not bother us. I heard that all of the Sushi restaurants are air conditioned. Going from casino to casino is the only time you are outside. We love to go to Vegas for our escapes because it has so much to do and we don't really gamble.
