Any good site to rent an apartment?

We are looking at renting an apartment for DH and I for a week or so in Paris October 06.

We only need a small place close to a metro line with at least 2 beds.
We are looking for a web-site to find one...Can anyone help...We are trying to stay within a budget.

If not, can you recommend a good place to stay in Paris that won't force us into bankruptcy when we arrive and see the bill...

You might try http://www.vrbo.com/. I havent used them but alot of people on the fordors.com forum talk about them and seem to be pleased with the apartments they offer. You might want to take a look at the forum there for some ideas.

Have you tried the Citadines chain of aparthotels? They have several locations in Paris and are decent quality. They generally have a kitchenette and depending on the location, you won't break the bank.
