Just yesterday! I was waiting for a fairly expensive ski jacket to arrive plus a two other packages. I knew they were supposed to arrive yesterday so I was listening for the delivery person (I work from home most of the time and I am close to the front door/porch). I received an email that my packages had been delivered from the company shipping them so I went to look on my front porch. Nothing. Sometimes if UPS hands off to the post office, the delivery can be off by a day so I wasn't too concerned. About 30 minutes later I got an email from UPS saying the packages had all been delivered and they included a photo (had not experienced UPS doing that, maybe the shipper requested it because one of the items was fairly expensive). Well, the photo was of the 3 boxes, but it was not my front porch or walkway. It was brick and mine is slate. And nothing on my Ring camera. So, I went online to chat with UPS. The person was writing up something to send to the driver to see if he remembered where he left the packages, she said it would take a few minutes, so she advised I go look outside to see if I could see if it could be anywhere else in my yard. I did go out, nothing in my yard, but I decided to go around the corner and what did I spot across the street but my 3 packages all stacked up like in the photo, but at my neighbors house! So, I went over and picked them up - they weren't home, there were a few cars driving by and it was trash day, so I got a few weird looks. I'm sure someone probably thought I was stealing stuff! I came back in and told the UPS person that I had found the items at my neighbors house, but the addresses aren't even close. She apologized and said they would mention it to the driver. I'm sure they are running full out, so mistakes will happen. I was happy I found my stuff! I do wonder what would have happened if I had not. Fortunately all the boxes were well tracked and because they took the picture that I could easily prove was not my house, they would hopefully have reimbursed me for the items. All's well that ends well!
