I’m certainly guilty, I’d bet most people are. Don’t beat yourself up. The “buy only what you need” really applies to things like food and medication.

I just bought some craft supplies and holographic powders to customize some dolls. Doing all my nonessential shopping online rather than in person though.

Well, certainly not. Cake, hot tamales, ice cream and peanut M&Ms are totally essential.

When I go out, I do buy nonessentials. I limit my trips out. I do not feel the least bit guilty about it.

Not yet, but in my mind I've already thought of projects that can be done ( outdoor projects) but a trip to LOWES would be required.
