Hi! I was terrible about checking in with this thread and posting that we were waiting for ROFR, but the good news is we passed! 25pts at $85/pt, SSR. December use year. We've got one foot in the door, there's no stopping us now!

ETA- It looks like I should have been better about keeping up with the list, we seem to be the highest on there! But, it was a small contract and those go so fast I was lucky to get it at all (in fact, I was already too late when I responded but the sale fell through so I got lucky). Not much room for negotiating in that situation, so I'm ok with it.

Everyone, it has been about 6 months since I shortened the entries in the data list. Do you think that I should shorten it again or do you not mind the length?

Also, for the areas with only a few entries, ROFR'D data, for example, do you think that I should shorten this also or leave the entries as they are since there is not a lot of data to use.

I am considering creating a new thread (ROFR#3) so that I can be the thread owner. Do you think that a new thread would be a good idea? We are still 100 pages away from being forced to move to a new thread. If we do a new thread, would you prefer that I only update the first entry or would you prefer that I keep posting updates at the end of the thread?

Please provide your opinions to these questions.

My vote would be not to make the info any shorter. I think your color coding is clear, so we can see what was from this past year, and having as much data as possible is a good thing I think.

Starting a new thread so you can be a thread owner is a good idea (MHO). I am on the fence about whether you should update the first post, or keep posting at the end of the thread. I do like the fact that you wish us each luck,, and I was looking forward to seeing you say 'congradulations'. It makes this thread so personal and so positive.

I'm so excited I finally get to post to this thread!!! The contract I am purchasing was sent to Disney today (9/16). It is a 50 point BWV contract with a Feb. use year. There are 38 point coming 2/09 and 50 points 2/10. I am paying closing costs and the MF on the 38 2009 points. Seller is paying MF on the 12 points already used. Wish me luck!

Everyone, it has been about 6 months since I shortened the entries in the data list. Do you think that I should shorten it again or do you not mind the length?

Also, for the areas with only a few entries, ROFR'D data, for example, do you think that I should shorten this also or leave the entries as they are since there is not a lot of data to use.

I am considering creating a new thread (ROFR#3) so that I can be the thread owner. Do you think that a new thread would be a good idea? We are still 100 pages away from being forced to move to a new thread. If we do a new thread, would you prefer that I only update the first entry or would you prefer that I keep posting updates at the end of the thread?

Please provide your opinions to these questions.

I think it works well the way you have it set up. This is one of my favorite/important threads. It's cool to see people posting they have bid on a contract, and then watching for your update to see they made it thru ROFR! If all of your updates stayed on page 1, I don't think I'd pay as close attention to the postings at the end (does that make sense?). Can't wait till I can post when I make my first offer! I'm gettin' closer!

I like it just the way you are doing it. I think it is perfect. It would make sense for you to be the thread owner, so I would be in favor or starting a new thread. It would be nice if this one could somehow be locked so you wouldn't have people who accidentally post to this one rather than the new one.

I just want to say thanks so much for taking the time to do it. It was so fun to follow during my wait for ROFR to pass. It is great for you to take the time to make a personal note to everyone, just like a PP said. I showed it to my family during ROFR and when we passed and they were excited.

I think the way you have been posting the list is great. It gives lots of background and was a valuable resource to have when we began our resale purchase. My thoughts would be to keep this one going and when it gets close to the end, then begin your own thread. Thanks for all of the effort you put into it!

160 SSR (Feb) $76, 208 Hold Status pts expire Feb. '09, 17 '08 pts, buyer pays closing, seller pays '08MF (sub 9/10, passed 9/16).

Donald#1 - Thank you so much for keeping this post up. It was the number 1 post we went to during our resale purchase.

It make sense to start a new thread so you are the owner - but I like the way you post it now - but it also would be good if you updated the first page as well....oh well I'm torn - either way is ok by me.
