really, really good walking shoes come to mind. We did the 11 day cruise last time and would have again if the schedule worked for school. THat day in the middle was wonderful.

When we get closer, I will be happy to share lots of info. I will say that we missed several dinners (breakfasts and lunches) on board because we were in port long enough to have dinner or we were too tired and ordered room service. Also, the best days were not scheduled with excursions.

Kind of sad that we leave the Villefranche port early in the evening. We stayed until 11pm last time and grownups went to the Grand Casino in Monte Carlo. So cool.

I'm so excited someone created a thread for this cruise! I've been checking since I booked on the 18th. This is our ( DF and myself) first cruise. We go to WDW every summer and thought it was time to visit DCL. So we'd love to hear any tips and advice on what to expect and what to do. Thanks!!!

We just got off the Magic yesterday and we booked this cruise while on board. It's me, my DH, DD and DS who will both be 9 when we actually go. I am going to try to keep my excitement to a minimum for a while, since we have a long time until we leave.

I have just requested a quote from DU for this cruise - will keep you posted if I book it (just need to work on DH). We are sailing on the Wonder in October 09 and was hoping that I could hold out till then in the hope I might be able to book this while on board but something tells me it might be sold out by then and I don't want to miss the chance.

We would love to have you aboard. We booked on our cruise, which ended a week ago tomorrow. At that point in time, we got the last one bedroom suite. She said this one was moving quick because for most people it's the last opportunity in the summer before school starts.

yesterday I read on USA Today that disney cruise line will be the first to introduce 3-D movies on their ships. I think this will be done by the end of the year. There will also be special technical effects to go with that. Something else we have to look forward to but don't know when we'll find the time to see a movie.
