Thanks!!! I did have Major Domo's pie and LOVED it. I had it both times. I'm excited about breakfast CRT. I hope the food is good.

I'm feeling much better, thanks!

The pineapple corer is great. You can remove the inside of the pineapple and put a drink in it. And you end up with nice pineapple slices. As soon as I'm off the meds I'm making some Lapu Lapus.

Hi! Just joining in. I have to go back and finish reading. I'm up to your gallbladder so I wanted to post because I had mine out 4 1/2 years ago. I started having attacks when I was pregnant with DS4. They removed in after he was born. I have the little tiny scars on my belly where they went in. It is the WORST pain ever to go through one of those attacks!

I hope everything went well. I'll find out soon...

I'm happy that I'll never have to go through one of those attacks again. it is the worst pain ever!

I think he likes brunettes :lmao:

I'm joining in now that I'm caught up! I will be there Aug 8-14 with my parents, cousins, and their two children (Mulan 5 and Lightning McQueen 7...No initials because they both start with S!). No DH on this trip...:sad1: It will be the kiddos first trip, and I can't WAIT! The rest of us have been many, many times! Looking forward to hearing more about your trip!

You'll be there the same time as us. So sorry that yoout DH won't be joining you. It's exciting going with kids who have never been. They're going to love it!!!

I just logged onto the Tour Guide Mike website and found out I have 133 days left :woohoo: Can't wait to get to double digits!!!

I kept scrolling down the welcome screen and realized I have alerts for fireworks, Illuminations, and Grand 1 yacht cruises.

Here's my dilemma:

Originally, we were going to book a Wishes cruise either on the pontoon boats or on the Grand 1 Yacht. Then we booked theme park view rooms at both the CR and the Poly. A Wishes cruise didn't seem to make much sense anymore.

Now, I'm considering an Illuminations cruise. I looked into the Breathless, but it's not covered and the seating is weird. The pontoon boats are covered and we can all sit together. But I'm not sure an Illuminations cruise makes sense.

According to TGM, I have 43 days to decide because that's when my booking window opens up.

Should we just find a good viewing location? Or should we book an Illuminations cruise?

What about Wishes? Should I book a pontoon boat? Or perhaps the Grand 1?

Or am I just wasting $$$$?

Decisions, decisions :confused3

I was thinking of a Wishes cruise. Not sure yet. I would love to do it. Just a little pricey.

I'd go with Wishes...just as long as you can hear the music (they have it on the boat don't they?)

It is pricey. I know you get snacks on the cruise and can order food from private dining. If we were there the same time, we could have split the cost and shared a cruise.

The music is piped in on the larger pontoon boats. If I do the Wishes cruise, I definitely want the music!

I was thinking it...but opted to not say it :).

I like the idea of either one of the cruises -- it would be something fun and different -- the experience would be incredible!

I think T wil have a great time on either cruise. I haven't seen Illuminations in a long time and I'm just wondering if it's worth seeing that over Wishes.

Since I'm feeling better and itching to get out of the house, I've decided to head to Long Island for some shopping fun. My mom is driving, so I'll get to sit back and relax as we sit in traffic. We're going to Walmart (there are zero Walmarts in NYC), Michael's Craft Store (very dangerous place for me, even though I'm not crafty), and possibly hit Roosevelt Field Mall. Plus, we're going to Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us to pick up stuff for the baby shower.

I'm going to try hard not to buy stuff for a trip that's over 4 months away, but I don't know how it'll turn out. Wish me luck!

Hi! Finally caught up! Sorry to hear about the complications with your surgery, but I'm glad you are finally feeling good enough to go shopping. :thumbsup2

Your plans sound fantastic! :goodvibes
Any of those cruises sound great to me because I've never been on one, but I would say Illuminations would be better for you than Wishes because of the view from your rooms. :confused3

Wow your clicking right along with the PTR now! Having a blast reading it.
Your nephew's smile in the Jasmine picture is just priceless!!:lmao:  What a cutie!!
I know what you mean about Michael's. I could buy so much stuff in there and not have any idea what to do with it all.:confused3 Very dangerous store!

Have fun shopping. There is a great Italian restaurant across the street from that mall. Also a Ruth Cris steakhouse. MMMMM

Too bad our times are off, would have been nice to split the cost of the Wishes cruise.

Just read your PTR, and I have to comment on some things!

I wish I had a mom who would unpack my stuff when I overpack! I am a terrible overpacker!

Your theme park views sound amazing!

Your surgery sounds like it was rough. Well, the recovery part of it. I hope you're feeling tons better.

Your nephew is SO cute! I've never seen such a big smile as his when he met Jasmine!
