So I'm sitting here and thinking...I remember when she started this report. It seems like yesterday. I remember thinking that this was going to be one of the most beautiful weddings I had ever seen on the boards and I have to say now that I was right. Your wedding and reception looked ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and STUNNING!!! I love all of your pictures, especailly the one of you and DH staring into each others eyes while dancing and you and your Dad as well. The look in your Dad's eyes in priceless...he surely loves his baby girl forever. I can't wait to see more!

Cont. of the Reception​

I wanted to put the Best Man speech and MOH video so you can all see it, but I have no idea how to do it.. so when I my DH can spare me 5 minutes we can probably load it up

So now the BM and MOH were called up by the band and they played "Im Bringing Sexy Back" they danced their way up to the dance floor and the guests were cheering and laughing as well...

DH's brother had such a FUNNY speech and LEx's speech was so sentimental and emotional

He showed DH's impression of Robert Deniro

He did a final dance

What got me crying was when Alexis called me what our Abuelo use to call us when we were little.. My fathers father lived with us for many years after my Abuela passed away, he use to call us his little Curuchita (coo rrroo chee ta)
It was his little nickname for us.. So Lex says "From one Curuchita to another" thats when I cried

after the BM and MOH speech my uncle said a blessing before the dinner... I felt so bad he wasnt feeling well that night and after Alexis speech is was a basket case...

It was time now to chow down

Appetizer
Carrot Ginger soup- Our favorite from Boma

Followed was a Water Cress Salad with Blue Cheese and Rose Water Vinaigerette

The Palette cleansing time
Sorbet

We had (3) different entrees, one was beef, crusted chicken or tilapia
served with basil mashed potatoes and vegetables

My friend/hairdresser kept starting everyone to click their glasses...lol

During Dinner the band was playing soft music and once the dinner was almost over they started playing some really GREAT music...

Everyone got out to dance

We were making our rounds

What was funny during dinner, I sat my 2 cousins with their wives at the table with my boss and his girlfriend.. Well I never told me cousins to behave themselves b/c they are such party animals... Anyways they started talking about me and me growing up and my cousin says " Yey now Christina is tooo busy at work, everytime I call her she never picks up her phone, I mean how busy can she be at work" and my boss says "Yea I am her boss"

My cousin started laughing it off.

My cousin came up to me ans told me the story and I was cracking up

After dancing for awhile some very special guests appeared and it got CRAZY

Mickey and Minnie were so cute, they got to take pics with the guests and dance, everyone was so surprised!!!!!!!!!!!

It was now time to cut my beautiful cake

So now the first slice is cut and our planner told us that we will have our first dance with Mickey and Minnie on the dance floor

After the first dance they were able to roam and dance with the guests, well my moms best friend is MICKEY CRAZY, her house is all Mickey so I saw her on the side of the dance floor watching Mickey dance with someone.. Mind you she helped me with all my wedding stuff and my bridal shower... So I grabbed her and said "Did you dance with Mickey?" and she said "no not yet"

I said "well come on you are going to dance with him" so I grabbed her hand and she said "No he is dancing with someone else" I said " I dont care this is my wedding and I tell Mickey who to dance with" LOL she started laughing so I grabbed MIckey and I said "Mickey dance with her she is your BIGGEST fan

So after all the pics taken in the lobby it was time to sing "Happy Birthday" to my niece Michelle, she turned 14 on the wedding day.
So we got her a cake and surprised her with the band playing the song and everyone singing to her... Mickey and Minnie presented the cake to her... My sister in law was bawling crying, she crys over anything

For some reason DH loves the Hava Nagila (sp?) so he had the guys lift him in the chair,

My brother in law is afraid of heights so my cousin threw him in the chair, he was so terrified

Bouqet throw time​

The band started playing "Ladies Night"

Now I got upset and my sister got even more mad. If you look at the pics of me throwing the bouqet my cousin to the left was before wearing a cute red dress, the thing is she is major tom boy. She hates dresses and anything pink, so for the wedding it really took alot for her to wear the dress.. well she tells her dad (my uncle and moms younger brother) that she wasnt to change.. Well CRAP she wore a a bright blue "going to the park outfit"... I was so mad and my sister went to my other aunt and complained that this is a wedding and not a BBQ. So my aunt (moms younger sister) and told my uncle that Sofia needed to get bck in her dress since this is a wedding... My uncle got so mad that he took the kids and left "oh well"

I had to have Randy crop her out of the pic, b/c you see all the girls in dresses and then you see her in a park outfit...

what can ya do???

Ok vent over

My cousins daughter ended up catching the bouqet..lol

For the garter toss, DH and I had something planned for my parents so when it was time, I made sure my mom and dad were right behind me

YEY he got it- I told DH to remove both garters the little was for the toss and the bigger one was for my mom and dad

So after he removed the garter I grabbed my moms hand and sat her in the chair and DH grabbed my dads hand and handed him the garter..

Everyone started laughing

The band then announced the Fondue station was open and cake was being served

The band then announced for parents to have their first dance ( it was a surprise from DH and I since they hosted this wedding)
They love the song At Last so they danced to it

After their dance the band started with upbeat music

LAST DANCE of the night​

So the band announces that its the last dance... WHAT didnt we just cut the cake????? Where did the time go?????

I coluldnt believe it was over... The band played "Last Dance"

After the slow part of the song when it starts the upbeat thats when the confetti canon popped and everyone roared

YEY its the right color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

Towards the end of the song, everyone was hugging each other and I was ready to be free from the dress

Whoops I got a confetti in my dress..lol

The family didnt want to night to end so they continued the party at the GF pool by hanging out and drinking



Thats the end of my wedding reception stay tuned for the honeymoon

Christina, oh my gosh, i dont want your photos to end!

I have to say, that photo of you both kissing with mickey and minnie in front doing the same is amazing. Pleaseee can i copy this photo so i can keep it and get the photographer next year to do the same photograph!? I havent seen a photo like that before with mickey and minnie-Its great!

Your entire wedding is like my dream - it looks so perfect. Everything looks so beautiful and everyone looks like they are having the best time ever. Im so happy for you guys!

wow!!!! ive been sitting here for i think an hour going through it all and your wedding was amazing...and you were a beautiful bride!!!

i totally understand about the dress thing, when we married 10 years ago(wow howd that happen?) my dress weighed about 60 pounds...mind you my wedding wasnt also in florida in the heat!
