DCA Rope Drop Q!

Our family is visiting next week (so excited!!) and we plan to do rope drop, Radiator Springs will be our first visit. Earlier suggestions mentioned a rope drop location near The Little Mermaid, but it looks like this location has been changed. Does anyone have suggestions as to which rope drop location would be the best bet for us? Thanks in advance!

For RSR, you'll want to go in the main gate.

You will be pretty far away from RSR if you stand over by Little Mermaid. That's more if you want to rope drop Pixar Pier. Rope drop for RSR is right near the waterfall and Bear Mountain. Stay on the right side as the left goes to Avengers Campus. Go in the Main Gate and head straight ahead past Carthay Circle.

As far as I have seen, the Little Mermaid Rope Drop area no longer exists because of the Early Entry.

So if we have early entry, we could still use the GC entrance and be fine to get to RCR to wait for when it opens?

Yes, but the line to enter from GCH can be quite long.
And so can the security line from GCH to DTD.

That is why it is important to try and get to the security entrance 15-30 minutes before Early Entry starts.
You can then knock out one DCA attraction before getting in the queue area of RSR before the park opens.
