difference in Duffy Bears?

my son's first big Disney experience was Tokyo Disney/DisneySeas last year. due to our hectic schedule and limited time in the parks, i forgot to purchase a Duffy Bear while we were there. his 2nd birthday is coming up next month and I wanted to buy him one as a new lovie.

does anyone know if there is a difference between the Duffys they sell at Disney World (like in Epcot) and the Duffys from TDS?

if so, can anyone recommend a seller from Japan to obtain a ~12" Duffy Bear?

I was just looking at my daughter's 17" Duffy we bought at TDR a few years back and there are no particular markings for Tokyo Disneyland. I looked on the website and the newest Duffy looks slightly darker, but besides that no noticeable difference. I don't know if I've ever seen a 12" Duffy at TDR as that size is covered by the Disney UniBEARsity collection. You could try Disney Dream Store on Facebook if you want a Duffy from TDR, but it doesn't appear there would be a difference between Disney World Duffy and TDR Duffy.

Just chiming in here. I was at TKS a couple of weeks ago and bought my first Duffy. Unlike the photo above, my Duffy has the "Tokyo Disney Sea" similar to the Shelley Mae and Gelatoni tags pictured above. Hope this helps.

The size I got was the size for which one can purchase outfits. Don't know the measurements and I think they had a few sizes available, but I bought the sailor outfit for mine and I think it's the same size at the US Disneyland for which one can purchase the same sized outfits.
