Eat till we Explode, Shop till We Drop, No Time for Sleep April 10-18 PTR 3/27 Update

I'm in Cassie!!

Right now I have to fan myself ... the envy over your pin collection has me swooning!!!

Seriously - you and your DH look like a GREAT Disney couple and, judging by some of the pics of him "hamming it up", I'm betting we have similar personalities.

I can't wait to check in on your TR after you return as my trip will come up just a few weeks later (I may be pesty with questions in that interim).

Keep up the great PTR!!

Hello! Thanks for stopping by. My favorite part of shopping in WDW is the pins! I'm an addict. :rotfl2:

Thanks for the nice comments, and by the way feel free to ask as many question as you want!

I'm a little worried about the crowd levels for our trip. According to touringplans.com the crowds will be between 4-7 for the majority of the week. I can deal with that, however from recent reports it looks like it has been absolutely crazy at Disney right now! :headache: I'm so hoping that the crowds die down by our trip. We usually go during off peak times so I don't even know how to handle large crowds. I'm thinking about printing off the touring plans for the parks but DH isn't too thrilled with the idea. He lets me plan which park we go to which day and the ADR's but as far as rides, he wants to do whichever ride he's in the mood for. Does anyone recommend the touring plans? Do you feel like you're too strapped down to plans and don't have as much fun?

Sorry for the rambling I'm just a little stressed out about the thought of the crowds!

Well first of all.. relax girl! :goodvibes You are going to have an amazing time no matter what so remember that before you freak out.

I do recommend touring plans, but more as a guideline as opposed to "We HAVE to do THIS at THIS time." Many people don't like that kind of vibe. It is a vacation after all. You have to accept that you aren't going to see *everything* you want to see, first of all. I think that's important on any trip. Slow down and enjoy what you see as opposed to darting around everywhere. My main touring plan is to do the bigger attractions early in the morning, during parades and Wishes, and EMH, and/or using Fastpass and the less popular ones and meals in between that. If you follow that simple guideline, you shouldn't have too much of a problem with crowds. :thumbsup2

I'm a LITTLE stressed about crowds but so far touringplans looks good!!

Last year I think my park days were 6's and 7's and at rope drop the parks were empty! We are planning at getting to MK, DHS, and AK at rope drop this time!

We will also have at least one GAD pass, maybe 2.

I just found your PTR and I'm jumping aboard!

Your pin collection is impressive. I always like looking at all of the pins, but I've only ever bought one. It's Marie from the Aristocats (she's my favorite character if you can't tell by the name ;)) and I stick it on my bag for all of my trips. I like the idea of starting some sort of Disney collection and bringing home a new item every trip. I'll just have to decide what I want to start collecting.

Thanks for the advice, this is usually what DH and I do when we go to Disney. I'm hoping it works this time! I'm trying not to freak out, but I've been checking the Disney Wait Times app on my iPhone for the past few days. :rotfl: The wait for Soarin was 120 minutes today!

Oh I am so jealous, you have GAD fastpasses. I knew I should have signed DH and I up for the GAD when it was still available. We might have to switch our breakfast ADR's around a little so we can make ropedrop everyday.

Thank you! I buy lots of my pins on ebay too. I can't always wait between trips to get more. :)

Hello, yeah the weather stinks! The news is saying we're supposed to get snow again tomorrow. I'm hoping the weather warms up in Florida before we get there. I want to wear shorts! :lmao:

By the way I love that term "table service junkies"! Too funny.

UGH! I can't believe we are going to get some snow. I just keep hoping that they are wrong!

Yup ~ table service junkies. I have a almost 5 year old foodie. :) She loves to try new things!

Looks like we dodged the snow bullet. :lmao: Hope you didn't get any up in Maine.

I guess you could classify us as table service junkies too. DH refuses to go to WDW without the DxDP.

So I had heard good things about the Wishes Dessert Party and really wanted to book it. Then it went into hibernation.

Last week it was announced that it's coming back! :woohoo: So of course I had to book right away. I booked DH and I for Sunday April 11th at 9! Yay! Is anyone else booked for this night?

So we are going to have an insanely busy day that Sunday, but I will take lots of pictures! First we have a Chef Mickeys reservation for breakfast, then we are doing the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. After, we are going to go upgrade our tickets to AP's, and do a few rides before dinner. Then, we have a dinner reservation at Kona, followed by our Wishes Dessert Party. Magic Kingdom is open until 2am that day and another Spectromagic was just added so we are going to try to keep our eyes open and go see Spectro and maybe do a few more rides. Can't wait!

What an amazing day you have planned! Two of my favorite restaurants and all that fun at the MK :wizard:

We did get a coating of snow. Gone by afternoon though.

The snow ~ to which my dd said "I hate snow! I thought it was Spring already!" was really just a whiter version of my lawn.

We are toying with doing the Wishes Dessert party so I would love to hear your thoughts on it when you get back!

You will LOVE the KTTK tour! We took it on our honeymoon and still talk about it :)

We will be there at the same time staying in AKL. I'm thinking about doing a PTR myself... I just don't think I know what to put in it!

Maybe we will see each other at Fantasmic! It would be SO AWESOME to meet a fellow DISer! I will have my orange baggallini with attached LGMH :)

Looking forward to more posts!

I can't wait, the next 13 days are going to drag!

Yuck! No more snow! I hear we're supposed to get back up into the 60's by the end of the week. Crossing my fingers.

I will take plenty of pictures at the Wishes Dessert Party for you.

By the way I have to say that picture of your DD in the stroller is so cute!

What rides did you do when you went on the KTTK tour? I'm really hoping we get to do HM.

Our home resort is AKV but we still haven't stayed there. We're staying there next trip, let me know how it is. I will keep an eye out for you. I have a giraffe spotted baggallini, and I'm debating on whether or not to put a LGMH on it. I've never met another DISer before, that would be cool!

I saw you over on the Tag Fairy thread. I'm hoping my TR will attract the TF. Pixie dust for both of us!
:wizard:

We did HM, JC, and POTC! Our tour guide's name was Becky (I think). She was INCREDIBLE!! We just had the best time, and have agreed that we would totally do it again - even if there was no new information or anything... haha.

That would be so cool to meet a fellow DISer!

I have a few April ADR's I will be canceling that might match up for you.

Did you get Le Cellier or are you interested? I have one for April 17th at 2:45 I will be canceling.
