First look at VDH rooms

I just checked the DVC website and under News and Alerts it says "Exclusive Member Cash Booking Window for the Villas at the Disneyland Hotel!". The link then takes you to the Parks Blog post, so I guess it is only for cash bookings, initially.

Email says cash bookings only. Very strange. I was interested in booking but only if I could use points. Why pay cash if I can stay at VGC with points?

Yeah it seems strange to open bookings before pricing is revealed? And I guess bookings open to DVC members means we can book it, but with cash since nobody owns points there? Is this different from how they did Riviera?

I'm guessing it's just left hand getting confused with right hand. They will announce point sales, charts, etc... within the next couple of days.

Well that could be because of lock off two bedrooms could include a deluxe studio naturally with that theme.

It looks like the princessy themes are more tasteful than the ones at Port Orleans though. Maybe it will be subtle. The Sleeping Beauty one looks like the castle over the bed.

Yeah, they really do. Could have an awesome party/celebration. Maybe I'll make up some reason to do that lol. Maybe DH and I will renew vows for our 10th anniversary in 3 years lol

I hope not! Maybe California timeshare law prevents their announcing sales just yet but they want to drum up excitement - of which there is plenty just on this forum!

Maybe. It's possible there are reasons they might delay offering it as a DVC property. Possible delays with California timeshare law. Other strategic possibilities as well.
