Fun celeb siting the other day! Who have you seen lately?

Looking back over the last ten to twelve years, most of the STARS I have seen at DL were with family/friends and not Plaids. The people I have seen with Plaids, I did not recognize. I am not up on the new stars of tv, movies, or music. Over the years my stars sightings were just that, sightings. I have seen Bob Seger and family, Sammy Hagar and family, and Steve Guttenberg who was doing a Make A Wish Foundation personal appearance with a sick little boy that wanted to go to DL with Steve Guttenberg. Mr Guttenberg was staying a couple rooms down from mine in the DLH. I saw him a couple times in the hotel and on the elevator, he was always polite and nice.
According to my wife, we have been in line for rides with some big stars and I didn't know they were big stars. They were nice to me and I was nice to them. We have ridden POTC with stars and rode the train all the way around DL with stars and I didn't know it. Hey, I could get on Soaring with Kanye and not know it, I really do not know what he looks like.
As to the picture I posted from the Disney Grand Hotel lobby, yes, the picture is of two tv stars/personalities. I was checking emails or something with my smart waiting to check in when, when, when, some women with about five pounds of make-up on her face rudely informed me I was not to take any pictures of any celebrities at DL, it was rude! I switched my phone to camera mode and took the picture posted. I looked at the rude-over-make-uped-lady and asked You mean like that? She turned around and walked off. Most people would know the stars in the picture if they saw their faces. If I recognized them, any one could. But, I was not waiting to get a good picture of them, I took the pic on the spur of the moment, so to speak. Gotta go................

My guess is that this is an epic troll job, an audaciously satirical interrogation of our notions of celebrity and our feelings about so-called "celebrities." It is brilliant and subtle. Post a photo of two random people from behind, claim that they are celebrities without providing identities or any verifiable details, and watch what people do.

Last summer we were exiting RSR and Anthony Davis (The Brow) was walking towards the ride with a plaid. Kinda hard to miss a 7 footer, he was huge in person. I guess going to Disneyland is better than playing in the Olympics?

We are so out of touch with current stars. Every time we see a celebrity we only know because we hear other people saying "oh looks it's "so-&so"" and we say "who?" lol.
Case in point, back in 2015 we were at the Minnie & Friends breakfast at the Plaza Inn. Heard a lady fawning over some people who we were sitting next to. I had to send a picture to my teenage nieces to figure out it was Ryker Lynch (still have no clue who he is, or even which one he is in this picture, lol).

I think we were there the same time as you. I remember when we were going into PotC first thing in the morning, my oldest DD got excited because she saw someone from R5 coming down the stairs from the apartment above the entrance.

I saw him too kind of near Redwood Creek Challenge. He has great hair! Besides him I remember seeing Taye Diggs, Idina Menzel and their son pre Frozen and divorce in DCA near the rapids. Also saw Brandy the singer on one trip. Still looking for Johnny Depp...lol!

2 years ago we were about to board Indy and a jeep came around with Adam Sandler and his daughters. . He hopped from the back to the front to ride a second time, looked over at us, waved and said "how ya doing?" My kids jaws were on the floor! We have also seen Harry Hamlin/Lisa Rinna, Jim Rome, All of the Wayans brothers (together), and David Arquette

Several years ago we saw John Stamos with his mother and nephew at Wine Country Trattoria. We were sitting right next to them and I could actually hear their conversation. It was unusually crowded that day for September (back before September started getting crowded). He made a comment about how crowded it was and asked them if they wanted to get a guide. He was so handsome in blue jeans and a white t-shirt. Nobody bothered them which was nice but after they left several people asked us if that was him.

I was supposed to be at the park the day Johhny Depp was there in April but had to cancel our trip. I would die a happy girl if I was on Pirates at the same time he was there!

When we were in Disneyland (January 2012) waiting for the standby line for Indy, my cousin (who was waiting for us in NOS) said he saw Josh Grobin walk by.

Christmas 2015, we saw Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) in the walkway between Adventureland and NOS. It was crazy crowded and I have no idea who he was with.
