~~~Holiday Recipe exchange sent/received~~~.....COMPLETED!!
The person you sent to is on vacation......she is due back tomorrow, so I am sure she will check in ::yes::
And Lynne is in WDW, so no snow.....but it has turned cold there!! (DH was there this weekend).
Nancy,
Thanks for letting me know. I didn't read that Lynne was in WDW, but then again, I have been a little crazy here. Planning our Employee luncheon for 158 people for this Friday.:scared1: I swear it is like planning a wedding. Take Care.
Jen
Wow....that is a lot of people to plan for ::yes::
Good luck with that.
Well, part of the Friday mailings arrived today, so maybe tomorrow will see some more arrivals.
I had received an exchange from Stephanie-sorry I am not sure what your DIS name is.
She had sent me recipes for-
*Holiday Yam Bake-I will definetly try this. I have never heard of mixing pineapples with yams before.
*Brocolli Casserole
*Orange Cookies
*Chicken and Dressing
*Red and White Grape Salad
And included in the box were-
*Paper cups, plates, and napkins that are all coordinated in a pretty fall leave decor.
*2 scrubber dish cloths
*Pecan chips-I am not sure why, but I hardly see pecans being sold here, so it is neat to receive something like this.
*Fall fingertip towel
*2 potholders
*Silicone frosting spreader
Thank you very much. Hope you have a Happy Halloween, and a Happy Thanksgiving! :goodvibes
Today is my lucky day, I opened the last box that I had gotten from the post office, and it was my other exchange :). This one was from Formrcastmbr. She had sent me the following recipes-
*Brandy Alexander
*Shrimp Scampi
*Czech Dip
*Chili Dip
*Candied Sweet Potatoes
*Butternut Squash Crisp
*Cream Cheese Pastry-(Cookies)
*Fattimand "Norwegian Fried Cookie"
And included were a cute Mickey Halloween card.
*Food Network Stoneware pie pan-this had arrived safely.
*Ghirardelli crisp, and milk bars
*2 Fall Kitchen Towels
*Small wooden spoon-I have a feeling that this spoon will be used alot in our kitchen ;).
*And to make the box smell lovely-Yankee Candle red apple, and autumn pumpkin votives. Our house truely has a fall smell to it.
Thank you very much Lauren for the great goodies. Happy Halloween, and Happy Thanksgiving!
