German chocolate cake has coconut and a type of nut (I believe pecan?) in the frosting and/or filling. I think this is one of those misleading expressions, I read somewhere that the recipe isn't really "German" in origin. Although DF's stepmom, who is German, insists that her recipe is the best, so who knows...

I'm writing this with a very sad heart, through tears, but Brian and I have decided to cancel our wedding. Some doubts and anxiety were starting to overwhelm us, so we have decided we need to work out alot of things between the two of us before getting married. This is one of the hardest things I've had to do, but we both need to be 100% sure before going through with this.
I truly appreciate all of the help and support you girls have provided, and I've made some very good friends here. I'm sure you all understand, but I just can't be on the boards right now. Feel free to add me on Facebook, kristi Hendry.
Maybe one day I can start this pj up again, but for now Brian and I have alot of things to work through.

Oh my sweet Kristi - I don't know if you will read this because I would understand totally if you never came here again, but I am so so sorry this is happening to you and Brian!!! I truly hope that things will work out in the best way for both of you.
