Meredith & Matt's PJ-June 19th, 2011 Germany/LSS - Completed TR and Blog Feature!

As promised I uploaded more pics to share some more of the detailsof the wedding. We're going on 3 months since the wedding and I feel like I can't get my act together. I was so organized before and now it takes me almost 3 months to upload pics to shutterfly! I still want to add pages to our scrapbook and order the wrapped canvas. This Friday I'm determined to get more stuff done with our pics...we'll see

Anyway...here you go! Oh and I'm sorry if some of these are duplicates...my only excuse is that I'm disorganized since I get married :confused3

Oh wow! I love your table numbers! They were so creative and I loved reading them and finding out new facts!

I love all of your pictures. They are so beautiful. I also loved the table numbers. They are very unique. Can't wait to see more pictures!!!

After brunch is when the party really got started. I just wanted to get up and dance as soon as we were done eating but we had to make the rounds to our tables. I worked out well because we were done eating earlier than everyone else so we had plenty of time to see everyone. DJ Steve did an awesome job interacting with everyone and getting people up to dance. DH and I didn't need any convincing but he at least got all our friends up :good vibes

We didn't tell any of our guests that Mickey and Minnie were coming and I think that's the best thing we did. We wanted it to be a surprise for everyone and see all their faces when they showed up. IT WAS AWESOME!!! In the last pics you can see that most of the people dancing were our friends and cousins. Most of the older crowd was just relaxing and watching everything that was going on. WELL as soon and Minnie came running through the door it was like a MOB to the dance floor. Everyone was up laughing, clapping and you could just see the excitement on everyone's face. It was like everyone was a kid seeing Mickey and Minnie for the first time :yay::yay: It was one of my favorite parts of the day. My dad who was content with just sitting and watching was up and cutting a rug with Minnie! If anyone is on the fence about Mickey and Minnie, just find the room in the budget and DO IT and making it a surprise for everyone is even better. Here's all the pics :good vibes

Mickey and Minnie stuck around to cut the cake and take a more pics with us. I felt like they were there for a while and we were able to get as many pics as we wanted with them. I was sad to cut our beautiful cake but it was delicious. We took the top back with us to keep in our fridge and we kept picking at it all week :good vibes Anyway here's some more pics with the cake and Mickey and Minnie

I was sad when M&M had to leave because I knew the reception would eventually end. I was trying to soak in EVERY moment and enjoy everything. I'll just post the rest of the pics I have uploaded from the reception. There was just a lot more dancing drinking. I don't think the DH and I could have had a better time and we loved every minute of it!

Ok, apparently I didn't have that many more pics from the reception uploaded...sorry. Once the reception was over we were all gathered up and escorted back out to the buses. Once we got outside it was like a punch in the face of heat. I'm so happy we got married in the morning...I wouldn't have been able to handle the heat and couldn't imagine having to take pics outside in the afternoon. We were walked around the front of the Living Seas and everyone started clapping :good vibes I was a little shy but it put a BIG smile on my face. The buses were nice and cold for us and we rode back to the hotels with everyone. We had time for a couple hour break before heading back to Epcot.

We checked into the Beach Club for the night and it was the first time I'd been there. I was excited to stay there for the week because we could walk to Epcot. Anyway, DH and I both desperately needed a shower...I didn't realize how much we were sweating from being outside, dancing and just moving around. It felt so good just to rinse off and be fresh for the rest of the night. Once I took off my dress I realized how hungry I was...I guess I was being sucked in so much I wasn't hungry before. We munched on some wedding cake and it was even better the second time around.

Pretty soon it was time to get ready for drinking around the world!!

Meredith,

I loved all the pics you have posted so far. Everything was beautiful. Seeing how wonderful your day was makes me so happy and excited that we decided to do everything in Epcot. I just hope ours goes as well as yours does.

We were down at WDW for our site visit that weekend, so I know how hot is was. It was brutal!

Your pictures are amazing! I especially love the 2 pictures that are the silhouttes of you guys and M&M! So neat and unique!

Those were great pics, I love seeing shots of LSS receptions. For such a popular venue it seems like there is a lack of good pics. If hope our reception is as much fun as yours was, I will be thrilled!

I think we are going to keep our characters as a surprise too.

You look beautiful! What great pictures of Mickey and Minnie.

My wedding is in LSS next month, and I was glad to see some great pictures of a wedding :)

your reception looked like a blast!! you got some great shots with mickey and minnie!! very fun!!!

Meredith sweetie - More gorgeous pictures!! I particularly love the LS silhouettes and, of course, the beautiful shots with the Main Mice!!! It would have broken my heart to cut that wonderful cake ( but not to eat it, I guess :lmao:)!!

Sorry I've been MIA, I was looking for more pics from "Drinking around the World" and finally uploaded them to shutterfly. So after the little break the plan was to meet everyone back in Epcot at Canada to continue to celebration. At this point the humidity I think was at it's highest and I can't explain to you how hot it was. I actually took off all the foundation I was wearing and just left my eye makeup on...I felt like I was melting. DH was just relieved he didn't have to wear his suit anymore. I changed into a white cotton dress and was thankful I didn't have to wear a bra anymore :lmao:

We met my MOH and bridesmaid in Mexico to get a margarita before everyone else got there. It also gave us a chance to cool down in the Temple before battling the heat again. I don't know why I love the inside of Mexico so much but I just do! There's AC, it's dark and MARGARITAS :lovestruc I'll pretty much let the pics tell most of the story and just give captions.

Cooling off in Mexico...we wore our ears the whole night. The guests liked them because we were easy to spot in the crowd. There were a bunch of us drinking around the world so it was an easy way to try to keep everyone together

One drink in...and about to head over to Canada to meet everyone else
ry%3D400

ry%3D400

We waited for almost everyone in Canada and stopped for a drink. Some of our guests were still taking naps or had dinner reservations. Again...the humidity was unbearable so after a little bit we decided to head to the UK. I wanted to get everyone inside the Rose & Crown Pub to cool off again. It worked out well because we got there before it got too crowded and was an easy spot to wait for stragglers.

with some of my guests and a delicious Snake Bite

More people had found their way to the pub and felt like they were cooled off enough to move on to France. We got some good shots on our way to France. DH and I were kind of separated at this point just because there were so many people with us we just wanted to spend time with everyone :lovestruc

Let's see...we were just moving through the countries and loving everyone minute of it  A storm was moving it but it just seemed to skirt around the World Showcase and we never even felt a drop...it was amazing. The plan was to get as far around the Showcase as we could and then find a spot to watch Illuminations. We ended up watching in Germany...wasn't planned but pretty much the perfect spot :) We had beer and pretzels watching the show. At that point I think there were about 25-30 of us left...which I think is pretty good!

Epcot was closing after Illuminations but MK was open till 2am...so we decided to keep the party going!! About 15 of us hopped on the monorail and headed over to MK. I was tired at this point but I didn't want the day to end. All of our closest friends were together in Disney and I wanted to make the most of it. I got a soda as a pick me up and I was ready to go!

Monorail ride over
ry%3D400

I wish I'd had more pictures from drinking around the world and MK but I was having to much fun to stop and take them :confused3 MK was pretty empty and we were able to get on the good rides pretty fast. We actually did more than I thought we would and LOVED every minute of it. I want to write so much more but it would just be about my friends who no one knows and would prob be kind a bit boring for everyone so I'll spare you. On our way out we got a group pic on Main St. It came out blurry but still one of my favs
