No, we are from Oregon and he was attending a college here. It's not uncommon for them to bring west coast kids over to WDW and visa versa for DL.

I say whatever is comfy. If it saves someone's feet, the fashion faux pas is worth it. I wouldn't wear them, but more power to those who do!

I've got a couple pair sandal type crocs I'm taking. Along with Tevas, Keens, Merrells..... Lol. Taking all of them!

I have a "thing" about my toes being stepped on or rolled over so it's sneakers while I'm in the park. Then it's flip flops.

I always wear Birkenstocks or sneakers but the last time I wore a pair of my Birkenstocks in the pouring rain all day they got water logged and now squeak when I walk. So now I also pack rubber flip flops in case I am there on a rainy day again.

I don't do crocs for myself, but if someone is comfortable in them, I say go for it. I really prefer flip flops. I wear them whenever possible. I think they are the most comfortable. I have no trouble walking around in them. That's all I just wore on our end of July trip.

I have a pair of the Disney croc flip flops, although I wear flip flops most of the time, when I know I'll be in the parks most of the day I wear sneakers. My feet hurt so much if I have flip flops on while doing a LOT of walking.

In my "Real Life" I don't wear crocs and do look twice when adults wear them LOL, but at Disney, I think it is fine. I mostly wear flip flops because they are the most comfortable to me, only trouble I have is when it unexpectedly rains!

So I have a dilemma....nothing major, but we just went to Disney in July/August and we did the Photopass +. It was great. We did a lot of character meals, meet and greets and tons of ride photos as well as BBB and Jedi Training. We like Photopass +, but with going back in October, not sure what to do. Obviously having it for our Tusker House meal will be nice and for MNSSHP, but is it worth having it again when we aren't doing so many extra things? Any opinions.

Small time change for our Ohana dinner ADR on the 10th.......we're going at 9:15pm now instead of the 9:55pm time. Thanx!!

As for the Photopass+.......price out the regular photopass and then figure out how many on-ride photos you'd purchase and character meal packages and see if you are getting your monies worth out of it.

We're only doing the one character meal, but figure the on-ride photos will be fun to have.......so I went ahead and purchased the +.

I am so upset... I can't get an ADR for Ohana for our Oct. trip and Dec. trip as of right now. I'm hoping someone cancels so I'll check everyday. I'm not to worried about Oct. but really wanted it for Dec.
this is the first time we have so many trips planned that I'm a bit overwhelmed. I understand if you have no sympathy for LOL.
I think for Oct. I'll just keep the 1 ADR that I have and just do QS for the other 2 days. And 1 day is F&W anyway.
We ate at Ohana (for dinner) for the first time in July. My sister made that ADR only a few months out. I heard Ohana is hard to get but man!!! I didn't think it was that bad.
Anyone have luck getting an ADR if you've given up?

Just keep checking (more than once a day if you can)!!

I lucked out and got the last one available for our trip (and we were under the 60 day mark)......so even though it was for 9:55pm.....I took it! I keep checking it & finally a little earlier time (9:15pm) opened up, so I switched it. I'm going to keep monitoring it and hoping to get into the 8pm hour. The closer your trip gets....the more likely of openings as people really firm up their plans. Good Luck!!

I have been in your shoes and am in them now! I can't find a Sci Fi reservation to save my life! Keep trying though, that's how I have gotten Ohana in the past. Since it is a hard restaurant to get, I sometimes think people hoard several reservations for it and cancel as it gets closer.
