Thank you for the feedback. I'm refreshing for FP's today....leaving them sit for a few minutes and am still able to grab them. Top tier rides with AM times today.....when the secondary search is running those are hard to grab even within a second or two let alone a few minutes.
The concern is that it isn't just an error or something like that that we run into. There is a process and screens to go with it that are not there any other time. Why would you have a screen stating something if there was never a reason for that screen to exist? How would you have the app saying something like, Sorry the FP you wanted no longer exists but here's another time we can offer you instead' if that never was a function previously? It also happened before when there wasn't a tier change.
It could be as simple as they created the functionality the first time around so it still existed and accidentally turned it on when they switched over the HS fastpasses.
But the concern we have is that the process has been created and they have the ability to use it. There is likely a reason they have it and I doubt we've seen the end of it. Any time we see the change we want to send feedback in order to hopefully avoid this becoming the norm.
The first time this came about it was around the time of rumours of paid FP's. There are a couple of different theories but even if you just take the frustration factor it could push people towards buying FP packages. It could be tied to something completely different. The only thing we know is that it kinda sucks lol
Other than my DL theory, my next theory is that it has something to do with a paid FP option they’ve been working on but haven’t yet released.
