We asked at the Belle meet and greet and they told us Gaston was away on a hunting trip. No joke… that was the answer they gave us. 🤣

He was in the parade though.
Bummer!

We have been trying to meet him for years. For some reason he's my son's favorite!

Question we have tickets to the party next week and now might not be able to go. I know tickets say non refundable and non transferable is there anything I can do with the tickets if I can’t go?

I am excited about our upcoming MNSSHP. Unfortunately, my husband tripped over his own feet last week and fractured his foot so he will be in a walking boot and riding an ECV; he is weight bearing.

I think Haunted Mansion and Buzz will stop the moving walkway if you use the alternate entrance, correct? Pooh might be an option. Not sure if he wants to try 7DMT. Any other rides he might be able to do? I was thinking of the WDW Railroad before park close. He's good with the parade, fireworks, villians show, treat stations, and party exclusive food.
Tell a CM you need rides like HM stopped before you reach the load area. They will probably ask when having you park the ECV but if they do not BE PROACTIVE and tell them before setting a foot on the moving walkway. You can even ask the CMs on entering the ride to make sure they can stop it for you if you are unsure if they can. FYI if HM is busy he may need to transfer to a Disney provided WC at HM and you will need to push him, CM will inform you before entering the line if this is necessary upon seeing his ECV.

I’d stay away from Mine Train. It’s such a small area to squeeze your foot into and the time crunch from the CMs is real because of them having to stop the other trains on the track if they don’t make their load/unload time.

Apply the value towards party tickets in the future. You don’t have to do anything but call Disney to verify that. You can always ask about a refund on that call, worst they can do is say no.

Haunted Mansion will stop the moving walkway, but you have to go through the main entrance and like the other poster said, tell them you need them to stop the walkway then they escort you to the exit and you wait for them to stop it at a particular doombuggy. They can slow it down from the regular entrance though. Peter Pan can also stop their walkway. I think, but can't be 100% certain, Winnie the Pooh, Peoplemover, and Little Mermaid can only slow down their moving walkway. No idea about Buzz. Some of the ride cars can accommodate wheelchairs, but I don't think and ECV would fit. The ones I can think of are Winnie the Pooh, Small World, and Jungle Cruise. 7DMT allows you to get as close to the train as possible then the CM takes your ECV and parks it at the exit. Here's a link to the MK Disability map, although a lot of it is vague as in "See a CM for additional information" https://cdn1.parksmedia.wdprapps.di...ld/guide-maps/magic-kingdom/MK_0423_GFGWD.pdf

We utilized rider swap - both groups were on and done within 20 minutes total. I know that for me personally when it was my turn in the swap, it was essentially a walk on (maybe a 2-3 minute wait just right there in the boarding area).
We won’t do rider swap, but it will be a group of 4, I’m just going to skip, so hopefully they are on and off quick!
I was able to buy a 5pm ILL today with just a party ticket (but not genie plus)... Is that new?
I’m really hoping for this outcome! Granted 2 of us have APs so I feel like sometimes that messes everything up!

Has anyone brought their own cake into Magic Kingdom? Where do you store leftovers? I booked CRT (snagged 4 pm; couldn’t get 5/6 pm) right before the MNSSHP. We have a huge Shopdisney teal/purple Mickey Halloween bag (has a zipper on top) for candy (those sold out fast) but this would be a lot to carry around. We have a Joovy Caboose sit stand ultralight stroller (basket can barely handle ponchos) so the bags will be hanging around the stroller.

The last time we had cake at MK it was at CRT in 2014 ($180+tax and tip) and the leftovers (over half the cake) spoiled very fast.

Does security scan it carefully and not damage it? I wish the Grand Floridian would just bring back cake deliveries to MK.

You should be able to apply the value to other future ticket purchases. We had to postpone our trip last fall to a December trip and we were able to use the value of MNSSHP tickets towards our MVMCP tickets.

We went last night and somehow lucked out with 2 VQ for tron- we did not have a day ticket. We got in at 4 and promptly got one. Rode just before 6. At 6 Sharp we tried again and got another one! Given the weather I am guessing there were fewer day people booking them? Anyway was an awesome bonus for our crew

Would someone please critique my MNSSHP itinerary? We’re going in October! Just me and my fiancé - no kids and we’re city walkers. 😉🎃🖤

Security is now walk through scanners so they no longer need to touch personal belongings unless something in a guest’s bag alerts them. I would recommend the person with the cake walk through with only that box, no backpack or any other bag.

After dinner you will be responsible to care for the leftovers. Only options are to rent a locker and store leftovers (not refrigerated) there or, have one person return to your resort with the leftovers and store them in the fridge in your room.

We had the second scenario happen a week ago. The family at the table next to us at CRT had a birthday. After dinner was over we left MK as it was close to 6PM. The gentleman who had celebrated his birthday was on our resort bus with us. He was returning to our resort to store the extra cake and change into his costume for the party.

Anyone else notice that Disney gives out pastel purple wrapped candy like mini milky way and starburst that look like Easter wrappers?
