Do extended hours change if there are special events like the 4th of July fireworks at MK? Wednesday would typically be the extra hours but I know they usually have special fireworks on the 3rd and 4th.

Well, according to the calendar, EEH are still posted as 10P-12A at MK on 7/3.

from what I've read it shouldn't be terrible. Just average crowds. Tom Bricker has good articles about crowd calendars that have been pretty spot on.

If you're not from America I would definitely read to know what to expect as far as crowds and weather. Weather is the main concern when it comes to July. It's hot and Miserable... but can be manageable if you know what to expect.

We did two weeks in August last time so I’m not expecting it to be radically different / worse in July, just more crowded I guess.

You're a pro then! To me August is always worse! (but both are bad) I live in the Southeastern US so i'm used to the humidity, but August truly gets unbearable at times. I joke that sometimes it feels like you're swimming when you step outside.

Crowds will be more because its still summer vacation for our schools here. We went in July of '22, it was more crowded than our May trips in the past, but not horrible. We got to do everything we wanted. It was also waaaay less crowded than our October trip the year before.

I'm taking the view we did everything last time, so we're going to hit the new stuff and my little girl's favourites. We're at the Waldorf, so if it's all unbearable then we'll go and float round the lazy river at the Signia next door with a drink. It's still better than working!

We've also got a VIP tour at Universal one day, so that'll be hitting a lot of attractions with no queues for a break from it!

Our ADR window opened the morning and I got everything I wanted! My remaining wish is for a Sip Savor & Sparkle to open up for 7/7. The weekend of 6/29 and 6/30 is available but nothing in July yet.

Anyway, sending pixie dust to you all for your ADRs!

We only wanted a couple of ADRs but one of them was Space 220 Lounge, which we got. The others were just Summer House on the Lake for Brunch and the Boathouse one night for Dinner for now. We've got Bull & Bear booked at our hotel, and something booked for our Universal day, so it's all starting to come together.

I am! Hoping I can trick my Daughter into riding since its princess theme. She's always fine when she's on a ride and loves them, but the anticipation in line if she thinks its scary will psych her out and we sometimes have a mess when it comes time to ride.

After that first rollercoaster/ thrill ride... she's good though. haha

Yes and no. We’re off site (but in a partner hotel so we got early ADR but not early access to ILLs) - am concerned they’ll all be gone before park open as we’re going so soon after it opens. Having said that we’re doing two weeks so surely one day there’ll be something…

Super excited. Never been on splash mountain @ WDW and we all love Princess & The Frog. If we don't get in, that's ok. There's DL we're closer to. Trying to figure out which day would be best at MK since we're there Thursday-Sunday and only have 1 park per day tickets.

I’m definitely excited but I was also hoping it would open around Memorial Day to give the novelty a bit of a chance to wear off. I’m hoping Tiana will have less downtime than other new rides since it’s a rethemed old ride rather than being an entirely new ride system!
