OUR FAMILY TRIP TO THE WORLD! WITH PICTURES!

Another ride I really miss is the Ellen's Energy Adventure. I know they have to update stuff but I just loved the banter between Ellen and Bill Nye and seeing all the dinosaurs. I do look forward to seeing what the new epcot will be like! After checking out everything up front we decided to head back around the countries. We started by the Canada Pavilion. Like I said some of the stores were shut but there was a show going on at the stage. It was three guys playing music using kitchen utensils and buckets. It was pretty good. One thing through out our visit to each park was that you really could see the downsizing of stuff due to Covid. All the shows were shut down and no acts on the street. I look forward to going again and hopefully that will all return!!

Our dinner reservation was at Via Napoli at 6:50pm. The park closed at 7pm so that meant we would be getting out of dinner after closing. That was fine with us. We were able to take some great pictures while we left the park that night. I do wish the hours were longer but I understand they need more time to clean the park due to Covid or at least that's what they say.20210225_183518.jpg20210225_200105.jpg20210225_200116.jpg20210225_200125.jpg

Here are some more pictures as we left Epcot. I loved seeing Spaceship Earth all lit up! I can't wait to come back and see the new light show and fireworks when that is all done!!20210225_200409.jpg20210225_200534.jpg20210225_201101.jpg20210225_201445.jpg20210225_201450.jpg

Your pictures are great! We just ate at Via Napoli on Wednesday for the first time. We just got pizza. It was good :)

Thank you! I love their pizza!! My boys like all the meat and I like the veggies so we got two pizzas! We had leftovers that they boxed up and the boys and I ate it later. We literally were the last ones leaving the restaurant that night. It was fun leaving Epcot and being the only ones around. LOL

Our third day was at MK. We took the bus over to the park. It didn't take very long to get there. I love walking in and seeing that first site of the castle! I really like the new paint job they did on the castle. Does anyone remember when the castle looked like a cake? I think that was for the 25th anniversary. Zeb and I took a trip during that time before we had kids.

We decided to head toward Tomorrowland. Our first ride would be Carousel of Progress! I love that ride! No matter how many times I've seen it I will ride it every time we come back to Disney! The ride actually had to stop right at the beginning because someone chose to not listen and leave the ride before it was done. I know they used to advise people to not do that because you could get hurt. It is a moving ride, slow but still moving. Sometimes people floor me with how they act. I shouldn't be surprised there's always those people that will do what they want when they want to.

Our next ride was Astro Orbiter. The wait time was about 40 minutes. It's a fun ride that takes you up and you can see pretty far from up there. Space Mountain had a really long wait time so we decided to check out the other areas of the park. The boys were hungry for lunch so we decided to eat at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. This is a quick service place and now you use the app to put your order in and they let you know when to come pick it up and what window to go to. Zeke and I had the Lobster Roll! It was really good! If you like lobster I suggest trying that sandwich!

After lunch we decided to head to Adventureland. My all time favorite ride at MK is Pirates of the Caribbean!
The wait time was and hour and a half so we decided to do the Enchanted Tiki Room. Plus it was nice to get out of the sun into some a/c for a while. After the Enchanted Tiki Room we thought we could get in line for Pirates but to our disappointment the ride was shut down. We kept checking all day and Pirates stayed closed the rest of the day. I was super bummed!! My favorite ride and now I will have to wait till next time we come. Ugh!!

Our next stop was Frontierland. We got in line for Big Thunder Mountain. It was a 60 minute wait. I thought that line would never end. LOL But we got on and had a great ride! Next we decided to see the Country Bear Jamboree. My hubby felt right at home! His family reunions remind me of this show. With banjo playing and sometimes moonshine being passed around. LOL

While waiting in line for Country Bear Jamboree a character float come down the road. It was led by Gaston! He is such a ham! He kept saying "I know you're all here to see me". As he flashed his big grin he showed his guns! So funny!!20210226_161430.jpg20210226_161432.jpg20210226_161451.jpg20210226_161507.jpg20210226_162316.jpg

Our next stop was Liberty Square. We decided to go to the Haunted Mansion. This is not Zeb's favorite ride but the boys had never seen it and the wait line was very short. The Hall of Presidents was closed so we decided to go to Fantasyland. The boys wanted to go on Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride. I remember going on this roller coaster and it was fun but after my Aerosmiths Rockin Roller Coaster episode my youngest son kept saying I wouldn't be able to handle it. He wanted to get a picture of Tigger from the Winnie the Pooh ride for a friend of his. So being the nice mom that I am I waited in line for Winnie the Pooh and the guys went to Seven Dwarfs line. Winnie the Pooh was only supposed to be 20 minute wait but it took an hour. Not to mention I was behind the worst little kids that the parents had given up on trying to keep in check. You owe me big time Han!! And my pictures didn't come out very well since the ride moves so quickly. LOL20210226_155917.jpg20210226_155917.jpg20210226_160055.jpg

I love the pictures inside the castle! We've eaten inside the castle when Zeke was 2 1/2. We decided not to make any resverations at MK. We had a res at Be Our Guest but cancelled it and decided to just wing it in regards to eating that day. It helped make our day less structured. We didn't have to worry about time.20210226_160901.jpg20210226_160931.jpg20210226_160932.jpg

Well, I have to get some work done so I will finish our MK day a little later. It's fun to relive our trip! I wish I could go back!

The boys wanted to ride on Space Mountain and I wanted to ride It's a Small World. Since the hours are shorter at the parks you kind of have to pick and choose what you want to try to see. You're not going to be able to see everything. We did ride the Barnstormer Roller Coaster together. That's my kind of roller coaster! :P The boys had fun riding Space Mountain and even got to ride it one more time as we were leaving for the night. While riding on It's a Small World they gave me my own boat. Fine with me!!20210226_204525.jpg20210226_204551.jpg20210226_204640.jpg20210226_204740.jpg

We ended our night by getting some pictures of the Castle all lit up. It was so pretty! I really miss the fireworks and the Electric Light Parade. We got some souvenirs from the Emporium and headed back to BWV. It was a wonderful day even if I didn't get to ride Pirates. Another reason to come back to Disney sooner!!20210226_194053.jpg20210226_214257.jpg20210226_214307.jpg20210226_214403.jpg

It's crazy how life can get so busy! I'm finally getting back to my trip report. I wish I was back at Disney instead of home working! So here is the next day in our trip. On our 4th day we headed to AK. I love when you come up the hill at the entrance and see the tree in the distance. 20210227_100402 (2).jpg

We decided to do It's Tough to be a Bug for our first ride. I love the ride wait line for this attraction. It is so cool to try and spot all the animals in the tree. The line for the ride started way out so we had to wait a bit before we could see the tree but we finally got inside the actual wait line area.
