We own at SSR and VAK, and we are looking into a trip next may at VAK but we don't have enough VAK points for a full trip even if we borrow from next year. So we decided to stay at SSR for the last couple days of our trip wich is fine by us, we love SSR.
My question is this: I have figured out that bay useing all my VAK points for this year and borrow next years VAK points we can stay there for 6 or out 9 night stay. The other 3 nights we will use a portion of this years SSR points. Then I was planning on banking the remainder SSR points. Can I do it this way? Or do I have to use all my SSR and VAK 2007 points befor I borrow?

you are fine with what you want to do.

you only need to use all the points at the resort you want before you borrow.

remember borrowing can not go back into its use year. if you borrow and cancel - you must use those points that year or lose them.

Just FYI:

The DVC resort is AKV, not VAK.
