December 8th: Day 4 Part 10
DH and I walked from the Boardwalk to the International Gateway. We were wearing the "Just Married" buttons and the CM at the gate saw them and congratulated us and asked us how long we'd been married. We responded with "about 3 hours" and she was so surprised. It was kinda funny the CMs who noticed our buttons the entire evening and would ask how long we'd been married and our answer was a matter of a few hours. I know Disney weddings aren't uncomment but I guess most bride and grooms have a reception and/or group dinner so they aren't in the parks fresh from the ceremony.
Anywho, we still had some time before our ADR. But we stayed near the Canada pavilion. We sat down on a bench on the upper level outside the shop and just people watched. I played on my cellphone and DH actually nodded off for a little while. It was kinda cute him asleep with his head on my shoulder. I let him catch a quick nap then we went to check in at Le Cellier. They weren't busy so we were seated right away. Our waiter was new and still in training but he did a very good job of explaining the menu to us. While we were waiting for our meal they came and sprinkled some celebratory confetti on our table.
DH had the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon - with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce
I had the cheddar cheese soup and the cream cheese mashed potatoes
While some folks rave about Le Cellier, I have to say that I'm glad we tried it, but we probably won't eat there again. The food wasn't bad, DH like his steak and I loved the mashed potatoes but I wasn't impressed with the soup. The beer really diminished the cheese flavor which I was hoping to taste. We didn't have desert as we wanted to save room for our desert party but we did get a congratulations card signed by the Le Cellier staff which was sweet of them.
After we paid our bill we spent the next few hours wandering around EPCOT just enjoying being married. I think all we did was wander the shops before we had to go back to the International Gateway to meet our group. Our guide, Bob arrived and took those who didn't have park tickets through the gate and then we all walked to Morocco.
Now at this point of the evening I had been following Carrie's (aka Lurkyloo to us on the DIS) Twitter page as she and Patrick were arriving that evening. I had been worried as their flight had left an hour late, but due to some wicked tailwinds they had still arrived on time. So I had been communicating with her via Twitter hoping against hope that they'd make it. (You can read Carrie's side of the day here:

Luckily they made it before Illuminations started and got to partake of the food. So without further ado, desert party pictures:
They do exist!
