Rachel & Chauncey-SBP/Morocco 12/08/09 Updated 6/10 TR IS DONE!!!!

your photos are so pretty- love the colors and your shoes! congrats you must be thrilled!:cloud9:

Thanks!

Thank you!

Your Italy and Germany pictures are so beautiful! Its neat to see how different photographers can shoot the same area with a totally different backdrop, etc. (just thinking back to my pictures in Italy & Germany). I love seeing the artistic differences. The colors really pop in all your shots! I was like you and had to have a couple of shots with Spaceship Earth in the background.

Thanks! While I love WS, Spaceship Earth is the icon of EPCOT and it had to be included.

WOW Rachel...I just keep getting impressed with your EPCOT pictures. They are so beautiful!!!

Thanks! Unfortunately that's the last of the EPCOT portrait pictures, but the wedding is coming up!

Wow your photos are amazing! It definitely makes me want to add an Epcot package

December 8th: Day 4 Part 5

I wandered back to the room where I found my mom sitting on the bed. This was the first time she had seen me all done up and I had seen her and the first thing I said was "I have to use the restroom and you have to help me!" :lmao: Let's just say that a game plan had not been thought of before hand, but we managed to take care of the situation. We still had some time before the limo came back so I took the time to sit and relax. I had been running like crazy and it wasn't even noon!

Meanwhile DH along with Jenni and my brother were taken to the Boardwalk in the limo.

Everyone except myself, my mom and dad had also arrived so Amy got to taking pictures of the groom's side of the family:

They all headed out to Sea Breeze Point where DH set up the video cameras that my brother would be manning for us:

Then Terry gave Chauncey one last chance to escape (only jokingly of course!)

I love your style! A few of the things (veil, dyed shoes, peacock feathers) are exactly what I'm thinking of doing!

Your epcot pictures are great. Who was your photographer? They were from Disney right? That gives me hope :goodvibes

Yep, we used Disney's photography. We had Amy who was awesome to work with. Feel free to steal any ideas!

Your pics (and YOU!) are absolutely STUNNING! Your EPCOT shoot is making me lean more towards there instead of MK.

I just adore your epcot shots. You look so amazing. I especially like the one of you and df on the bench in Italy. Just stunning.

December 8th: Day 4 Part 6

So while everyone got settled in at SBP, I had arrived at the Boardwalk where I was greeted by Amy and our planner Kathleen. Amy didn't waste a second in taking photos of my arrival.

We headed into the lobby and took care of some pictures.

My mom went ahead to SBP to take her seat while Kathleen gave Jenni, my dad and myself a quick rundown about what was going to happen. Then we made our way across the boardwalk (and thankfully I didn't get a heal stuck in the boards!)

December 8th: Day 4 Part 7

We reached the edge of SBP where I finally got to meet Rev. Jack Day. He was so sweet giving me a hug. He talked to me for a couple of minutes before taking the rings from Kathleen and taking his spot. Jenni got in front of my dad and I and when the violinist started playing she started walking up the aisle.

ph172261209-0053.jpg

Then it was time for my dad to walk with me

ph172261209-0054.jpg

ph172261209-0055.jpg

We reached the front and Rev. Jack started the ceremony. I had written a custom ceremony and he performed it very well. Everything went very well. There were two boats that went by during the ceremony and Rev. Jack just simply paused while they went by then picked up where he left off like nothing happened which I thought was great. The only hiccup was when we did the rings. I wasn't paying attention and put DH's ring on the wrong hand, granted it was the first hand I saw so I went with it. Luckily we noticed it right away and DH made a quick switch. *ooops!* :)

December 8th: Day 4 Part 9

So after cake and mingling with our guests, we did more family pictures.

Then most of our guests went back to their respective hotels to change clothes and relax before meeting back up at EPCOT for our desert party. Only my mom and Tweeter stayed behind while Amy took us around the Boardwalk to take more pictures.

When Amy was done DH and I both changed clothes and our mom's took our wedding attire back to the condo with them. Then DH and I were off to EPCOT for our ADR at Le Cellier!

I've probably said this before, but I love your dress! You look just great! Congrats on a beautiful day and can't wait for more!!!

December 8th: Day 4 Part 10

DH and I walked from the Boardwalk to the International Gateway. We were wearing the "Just Married" buttons and the CM at the gate saw them and congratulated us and asked us how long we'd been married. We responded with "about 3 hours" and she was so surprised. It was kinda funny the CMs who noticed our buttons the entire evening and would ask how long we'd been married and our answer was a matter of a few hours. I know Disney weddings aren't uncomment but I guess most bride and grooms have a reception and/or group dinner so they aren't in the parks fresh from the ceremony.

Anywho, we still had some time before our ADR. But we stayed near the Canada pavilion. We sat down on a bench on the upper level outside the shop and just people watched. I played on my cellphone and DH actually nodded off for a little while. It was kinda cute him asleep with his head on my shoulder. I let him catch a quick nap then we went to check in at Le Cellier. They weren't busy so we were seated right away. Our waiter was new and still in training but he did a very good job of explaining the menu to us. While we were waiting for our meal they came and sprinkled some celebratory confetti on our table.

DH had the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon - with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce

I had the cheddar cheese soup and the cream cheese mashed potatoes

DSCN4614.jpg

While some folks rave about Le Cellier, I have to say that I'm glad we tried it, but we probably won't eat there again. The food wasn't bad, DH like his steak and I loved the mashed potatoes but I wasn't impressed with the soup. The beer really diminished the cheese flavor which I was hoping to taste. We didn't have desert as we wanted to save room for our desert party but we did get a congratulations card signed by the Le Cellier staff which was sweet of them.

After we paid our bill we spent the next few hours wandering around EPCOT just enjoying being married. I think all we did was wander the shops before we had to go back to the International Gateway to meet our group. Our guide, Bob arrived and took those who didn't have park tickets through the gate and then we all walked to Morocco.

Now at this point of the evening I had been following Carrie's (aka Lurkyloo to us on the DIS) Twitter page as she and Patrick were arriving that evening. I had been worried as their flight had left an hour late, but due to some wicked tailwinds they had still arrived on time. So I had been communicating with her via Twitter hoping against hope that they'd make it. (You can read Carrie's side of the day here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=34861212)

Luckily they made it before Illuminations started and got to partake of the food. So without further ado, desert party pictures:

After Illuminations we hung around while DH chatted with Patrick about nerdy boy stuff :lmao: Eventually we had to leave with Bob leading the way.

We walked back to the Boardwalk where Carrie and Patrick were staying and everyone else had parked. Carrie had asked what we were doing next and when I said we were gonna catch the bus back to Pop, well she wasn't going to have that. They graciously offered to take us back in their rental car, which I dubbed Vanilla Ice on the ride back. We got to the lobby of the Boardwalk and Patrick pulled the car around. As we were climbing in I noticed a stowaway on the window who quickly bailed and landed on Patrick.

Meet Danger Frog!

Danger Frog leaped onto the wall next to the driveway area and off to safety

We made it back to Pop and bid farewell to Carrie and Patrick. DH went to my dad and brother's room to collect his things that he'd left while I jumped into the shower after I unpinned my hair (64 bobby pins!) We were so happy to be married but we were exhausted and quickly fell asleep.
