This Is Us- Season two

Hmm, no tears from me tonight.

I did get choked up at a few parts but no boo hooing.

An excellent episode none the less.

SO good!

This episode was fabulous!!!!!! I loved Dr. K, the tree, Jack's speech to the boys...

And Rebecca - telling Kate it was not her fault, and the boys to be kids, and Jack that they'll make it...

I'm glad the trailer said we're going to see more of Jack, but I'll still miss having an episode next week!

P.S. - Did Jack grab the tickets in the fire, too, or were they hidden in the glove box of the car?

I loved seeing how strong Rebecca was. LOVED Dr. K. He is such a great character. It was such a great story last night. I am really loving Keivn's character, all three of them. His story line started slow last season but is really turning into a great story. Love how him and Randall have tension. they are so different. Loved when Jack made them walk home. LOL!! I have said it before, but am blown away at the actors that play the big three as teens.

As for the tickets, I thought they were hidden in the car.

This episode was incredible from start to finish. The scene with Dr K was one of the best of the entire series IMO. And I was so happy to hear Rebecca tell Kate that it wasn't her fault. When she pointed out that Jack was a grown man and made a choice...that got me. The timing of the Superbowl episode followed by this one and then a break for the olympics...genius. We have time to heal and get prepared for (hopefully) a few light-hearted episodes after the break. Glad we will get to see more of Jack's story with his brother and the war.

Well I'm glad they explained to us why Kevin wasn't in his cast at the funeral . He got it off 2 days after the fire.

Loved the talk and humour the doctor brought to Rebecca.

Favourite tree because it was closed to the phone...lol

Anyone else think young Kate looked thinner last night? Her face to me wasn't as round.

Was Jack just driving by and saw Kate skipping school

I got the impression he was working, since he was in a dress shirt and tie. They showed his car parked, after her dropped Kate off, and it looked like it was in front of a town hall type building. He may have driven by her by chance. I would guess as an architect/builder he spends a lot of time at town hall pulling permits and plans etc.

My other thought was he got a call from the school that she was absent and was out looking for her.

I think he left them in the car, along with his coffee cup, which Rebecca picked up while waiting for the kids at the hotel. My husband caught the detail about the coffee cup, I didn't.

I saw the coffee cup as well. And I also assumed the tickets were in the car.
I think Jack just happened to drive by Kate at the bus stop. It blows me away every time how much that girl resembles Chrissy Metz!
Loved every second of last night. It was absolutely wonderful, way too many things to possibly list.
I did not cry last night, but I almost did when she was with the Doc at the funeral. I actually smiled through a lot of it, because of all the wonderful memories and back stories.
I am kinda glad it's not on for 3 weeks, we are bring home a new puppy, that makes 3 dogs, this weekend and the next few weeks might be a little nuts to try to sit down and watch a whole episode of anything LOL.

The scene with the cancer scare was very real. I had a couple of days of worrying with DH about a mammogram in December. Thankfully, nothing, but I could feel the anxiety, the strength of having a husband to lean on as they waited for answers and then the relief.

That scene was real for me as well, after my first round of severe vertigo, before I saw a dizzy specialist, my gp sent me for an MRI to rule out a tumor or something in my brain. I had to wait a few days for my results though, not a few hours.

I thought they were going to find out she was pregnant.
