Vero Beach turtles

Our first visit to Vero Beach and I was wondering since we are approaching Turtle egg laying season what is the process to see a potential turtle sighting? I believe the beaches are under renovation but I want to make sure if its possible to see a turtle or two. Thanks.

they usually come out at night if they hatch.

It depends on when you go - during nesting season you’re asked to use little to no lighting at night as you could scare off the turtles who come up to nest. I’d suggest getting up closer to dawn and going down to the beach where one of the animal care guides will be available and show you nests.
