Somewhat agree with Clarker on this. Someone is going and filling rooms and parks. Long gone are the days of low periods and quiet times. Long gone are the days of deals so good it pulled people in. If you dont like the price at a Deluxe, switch to a moderate ( Coronado is as good as most deluxe), switch to a value, or stay off property or in Disney Springs.
And while it is an enthusiast site where people will debate due to differing circumstances, differing views, the inistent clamoring about Disney being evil and greedy ( They are a business subject to the stockholders returns on investment) and things arent "fair" ( fair is a state of mind based on your own perception), or prices go up too much ( take a look at other entertainment ventures as successful as Disney..>Wait, there are none but even ones not as successful raise prices) is banging your head against the wall.
Believing that what is posted on a message board or in social media is going to stop that machine from rolling is wasteful time and words. You have to decide what is best for you, what is valuable to you and what youll pay for that, etc. Its individual and again, circumstances can dictate things. We live local, have Resident platinum passes. We were at Aquatica yesterday morning and decided around 1245, eh lets go by AK on the way home. We looked at wait times and it was wow, parks are slammed. So we went having that expectation and on the drive over pulled FPs for Dinosaur, Everest, and FoP. We knew what to expect, had a plan, and enjoyed a few hours in the park. SO for us, value remains. If and when it is nothing but negative for you, stop going.
