Your experiences, pro & con of DDP vs. DDE..

We're doing the DDE again in October. There will be 8 of us for some meals, but most of the time we'll be 5 or 6 or...who knows. A couple of us will be on a golf course, four at a princess breakfast or parks, etc. We tend toward more TS meals than CS. The drama just got too great to try to keep track of DDP meals, especially the ones we probably won't use. DDE is SO much easier. And we like the discount on our "adult beverages".

We have never used the DDP. We have AP's so we bought the DDE card. For our last 2 trips, I compared what we spent using the DDE card versus paying for the DDP. And we spent less using the DDE which included adult beverages than what the DDP would have cost us. But each family is different. We eat most of our TS at lunch time and we're not big on eating an app., entree and dessert. But we do like to have an adult beverage with our meals. So for us, DDE is the way to go.
