Its rainy and crappy here again...I did my errands this morrning and am now gonna spend the rest of the day with my face in my tv production textbook. I was officially dubbed director (yeah-no pressure) of our live production final on Tuesday...so I am of course reading up on what to do and how~In my other class, I have to create a presentation on the computer based on info the rest of my group puts together. That one is due Thursday and so far only one out of seven have finished their piece :faint:

So how have things been going?

What are you doing?

Anything exciting happen since you were here last?

A lot has changed in the past few months! Well I did some of the CP but due to health reasons, and a few other things I came home. I was upset about it but it's jumpstarted me going back to college. I'm waiting to hear back from a few colleges but I know now without a doubt that i'm going to continue with my art and make a career of it! I do miss Disney though :sad1: but hopefully next time I work for them it will be art related :goodvibes

How have you been?

Sorry that you couldn't finish the program, but everything happens for a reason. Glad you're getting back to your art!:thumbsup2

Swtd! Hey girl sorry to see the CP didnt fly for you. Does DL have the same program? Maybe trying one closr to would help. I talked to DH about my going and was quite clear that he didnt want me to go

Du, Elvis sounds too cute~

Miss you all!! :grouphug:

Sorry it's been ages since I posted last, about 11 pages! :guilty:

My cousin is a DISer now tho! That's good news! She is going again in November! She is Rory's age, a year older than him, with 2 daughters, around Kelly's age. The DIS overwhelms her tho. I told her to keep plugging along and checking out ALL the boards, as they really help! She agreed with that!

Kelly is spreading herself way too thin these days - YES, that is partly MY fault. I didn't want her doing softball this year, but she is. :sad2: And DH is coaching as well. On top of that and soccer ending last month and ice skating and shows last month and band and Girl Scouts, the past month and this month are INSANE! In this month, she currently had/has 8 days only of NOTHING EXTRA scheduled (SO FAR), besides school, of course. I guess I'm just an OLD, TIRED MOM! :sad2: I am also driving for 2 rehearsals in the next week with 4+ kids everytime! :scared1: I told her she can't DO this again next year! She has to make choices. So far, it seems, she's choosing skating and band. Those would have been my choices for her also. Exercise and/or talent involved with both, good mix. :thumbsup2

Matt is graduating 5/29!! His short film from last year, that won awards, was just featured this past weekend in Evanston, IL at a film festival. He is SOOO busy also, but self-sufficient in the transportation/responsibility dept. LOL I barely see him, but he SLEEPS here!

Sorry to bore you all. That's just a BRIEF update, trust me.

I will TRY NOT TO take 11 pages before I post again!

Hi Kim I am here! Thanks for all the info you gave me I can't wait to go again! My name is Dorene and I'm Kim's cousin, I used to think all this Disney stuff was a little crazy but now I love it! Looking forward to getting to know you all, Kim told me everyone is so nice and really helpful.:goodvibes

Welcome Dorene! Great to have you here!

Kim- I understand completely with the too much stuff for the kids. My 3 girls were involved in so many things that I finally made a rule many years ago that they could only have 2 activities, other than school clubs or activities. They were so busy that they never got time to play. I think playing in the backyard is important! I think they are all better for it. SOme of my friends with kids the same ages as mine 13, 15 and 17 still have things scheduled for the kids everyday. School soccer and travel soccer then school swimteam and winter travel swimclub, school Lacrosse and little league softball....and then they do horseback riding, iceskating etc in their "free time" These kids are totally stressed out and still doing their homework at 10 or 11 at night. I think that is just nuts!
