Just arrived today at FW.
We drove down from NY and arrived at 12:00 noon.
Checkin was a breeze. We were in and out in 10 minutes. Cabin was ready so we headed right on over.
When we entered the cabin everything was damp, including some noce condensation on the TV. It seems that the window in the bathroom and the one right outside the bathroom were left open for some reason. As we are unpacking there was a knock at the door. Don from maintenance was there. It seems there was some report about the AC not working. Possibly this was why the windows were open. The AC was working fine as evidenced by the condensation all over the place.
According to Don, there will be some sort of vacation club area over where River Country is. Also, for some time after RC closed the pool was used for life guard training. They would use that pool so that they could train without disturbing other guests. We did not get any details on exactly what was being put in. He also mentioned that the backyard BBQ is going to be moved. I am not sure but I think it is going to be somewhere at the Outpost end of FW.
Any way, we finished unpacking, the kids checked out some lizards and snails crawling around the deck, and we headed out for a late lunch and a 1/2 day at Epcot.
More to come hoefully with some pictures.
