Confession Time! What's your secret shame?

I like the Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico... and I took great pleasure in tricking my dad into trying Beverly.

Ha! That's nothing! I loved -- that's right, not liked, but LOVED -- the Gran Fiesta Tour when it was still... I can't remember the name. Something tiempo. The river of time? I was actually annoyed when they updated it!

And what is Beverly?

Every time I leave to go back home I always have to turn around, no matter where I am and have one last look and say to myself "bye Mickey, hope I get to see you soon." Then once I'm in the car, where no one can see me, I start to cry because I'm leaving the happiest place on Earth.

I am terrified of Splash Mountain, not because of the drop but because I am afraid that the log will flip over and trap me under water and that I'll drown. Irrational, I know, but I've never been able to shake the fear.

I hate the monorail. I dislike all public transportation, both at WDW and in the real world, but I especially dislike the monorail. I just do not get the appeal.

Once in Feb in the early 90's, I was out by the CBR pool around 3am and saw a guy skinny dipping with his girlfriend... so naturally I whipped out my video camera. You can find it on youtube here: ________ ;) ;)

I have farted in fear on Tower of Terror, happened the very first time I rode, right on the first drop. Luckily everyone was screaming and no one heard.

Hah! I laughed so loud when I read this, I woke up the cats sleeping on the couch. That's awesome.

I have no shameful secrets, but I join the ranks of those terrified by TOT. I say very bad words on that. In rapidfire succession. Not very loudly, which keeps it from being shameful, but certainly loudly enough that DH still ribs me about it.

Okay, I've got two.
I hate the Animal Kingdom........ with a passion.

I'm absolutely terrified of Fireworks. This summer I wanted to watch them, I was ready to do it. The moment they started I made a beeline for Winnie the Pooh where the sound was muffled and by the time I got off they were done.

Well, I love "It's a Small World" as well. When my parents took me in '77/'78, they bought me the little record. I played it all the time. I look back and wonder how my parents could even get back on it when we went back in '87!

Also, I think that Cinderella's Royal Table is awesome, amazing and the best idea ever! I don't care how much it costs, I hope to go every time we're there from here on out.

Last one, I nearly wigged out last year when a CM told me that I couldn't get in line for Alice and the White Rabbit. I can only say that I must have been really tired and very hot.

I may not be the only one this happens to, but I almost always get tears in my eyes during the opening show at the Magic Kingdom. There's just something about that song - "It's all pure magic wrapped up in pixie dust. Welcome to the place where dreams come true!" - that gets to me every time. :sad1: :goodvibes

And what is Beverly?

It's a yummy soda in the Club Cool spot in Epcot - a place where they let you sample coke products from around the world. You take dixie cups and have as much as you like.
You really MUST try Beverly!

I am in LOVE with the flamethrower dude from the Luau! please donot tell my husband!

I get crazy and scream when Tink flies out of the Castle, ( sorry to any one who stands next to me during that time) and tear up during Wishes as well. By the sounds of this post they should start handing out Mickey tissues at the gate!!

I like stitch's great escape. So does my husband.

I also cry during everything- wishes, fantasmic, some shows, and most of all the me ride back to the airport :(

In all the times I've been to Disney World, never once have I spent more than 10 minutes at the America pavilion in Epcot. For most of the trips my mom wouldn't let us spend any time there because "it's for people who visit from other countries," so when just my sister and I went last March, we decided to look around it, and honestly, nothing there appealed to us...

On our last trip this past DEC which was adults only, we spent the longest we ever had at America Pavilion, and that was only long enough to go to the bathroom and to enjoy a nice cold Sam Adams. Nothing appeals to us there either.

I flipped out checking into CBR for my honeymoon 12 years ago when they gave us a view of the parking lot. The guy in front of me in line said he requested a water view, I had been told by my TA that I wasn't allowed to request a specific type of room.
So, when we saw our room I went back to the desk and flipped out on the poor CM. I was crying hysterically and told him he ruined my honeymoon.
Well, he went and got another key and said he'd have our bags moved and said he didn't want to ruin my honeymoon and he hoped I had a great trip.
It was a perfect corner room with water views all around and a hammock in the sand very near....
I was overtired from being up all through the night before for my wedding and then traveling...it's completely out of character for me to behave like that. I am glad that we got a beautiful room, but I'm still ashamed of the way I acted and very sorry for the CM....

Me too. And ,y Dh gets a little water in the eye at this point. The whole ride home is a very quiet one:sad1:

It only takes walking down Main Street and seeing Cinderell's Castle for me to get teary eyed.

Shameful secret?

I cry during everything. (Everything? Yes, everything.) Fireworks, RD ceremonies, setting the first foot on Main Street each trip, standing in line at PoTC and smelling that slightly rank water once you get inside the ride building. AND! During the movies too: Hercules(especially!), Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, all those.

My other secret?

I know they change the lyrics in the version of "Part of Your World" in the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and even though I have to see that show every time we go, I get pissed every time because the song is WRONG.

I really dislike DHS we only go there for TSM, its the only thing worthwhile for us there.

I'm an avid small world lover!

I get misty-eyed at all the usual things (fireworks, entering MK, etc.) but I also get teary at Philharmagic in the Peter Pan scene, I guess just wishing I could fly away too!

Oh and I hate Dole Whips - tried one and threw it away FAR too sweet!! I don't understand the people who are infatuated with these :confused3

The first time we went my DD3 was crashed out in the stroller so my DH and I were enjoying Spectromagic and I squealed in delight and waved at Alice in Wonderland.

It must run in the family though...my DS16 and his Dad get a kick out of calling out and cheering loudly for the more obscure characters in the parades. Gepetto is probably still trying to figure out why his name was being chanted and he got such a big shout out during the 3:00 parade in the MK last November.

It's tough to be a bug! scares the crap out of me! I have to duck when they spray the acid at you and I just start screaming my head off when the scary black widows start attacking you.......Oh and I"ve always been secretly proud of my self for going on Stitches Great Escape oh, and I actually like that ride!:cool1:
