attractions that need to go!!

Can someone please tell me why WDW still has the hall of presidents? I think the Hall of Presidents would be better suited for the International showcase at EPCOT. I understand its in Liberty Square but, so is the Haunted Mansion. What exactly does the Haunted Mansion is kind of out of place there. I wish they would rename that land.

I also wish they would get rid of the Carousel it doesn't even seem like the little ones care about it. The ride never seems to have a 10 min wait time. I think the park needs to realize the Carousel is just a waste of space.

Can someone else please tell me why Magic Kingdom has an Arcade???

Sometimes we like to stop in an arcade just to play something and relax. They don't take up much space.

The carousel also takes up little space and adds a lot of atmosphere to that area. I don't think that anything needs to go anywhere. Disney has plenty of room for expansion.

The number one attraction that needs to go in all of WDW is far and away the Backlot Tour at DHS. It's been reduced to nothing, and takes a ton of space.

Sorry but I love Hall of Presidents. I remember going after Obama was elected and being excited that a new president would be there.

As far as the Carousel, that too is one I love.

You know, if you don't like an attraction, you don't have to acknowledge it at all. There are guests that how to the park other than yourself.

haha now we don't watch it due to the current president lol! Cant wait for 2017 so it is updated. But anyway to the starter of the thread.....how does this not fit into Liberty Square? In fact it fits better here then anywhere besides Epcot who has a great American show.

Anyway, The Hall of Presidents is great! I love seeing the items on display there. And, on a hot summer day, that attraction is an instant sanctuary!

Why get rid of any attractions? Wdw has tons of room to build and with crowds growing they need more attractions thus tearing down and developing a replacement is not the best idea. I usually skip over HoP so I get the oper but the attraction definitely has it's place. I have seen more people cry at that attraction than fairy tale princess hall whatever which says something...

I really enjoyed the Hall of Presidents but thought it started getting depressing after Teddy Roosevelt, I don't know if it's simply recent Presidents haven't had enough time to reach the iconic status of the older Presidents but there was only 1 President in the last 100 years I actually like. I won't say who because I don't want to get political.

As to the OP's question, NO and NO. No reason to get rid of rides that many people still enjoy unless they absolutely have to for space reasons.

The HOP is a great place to cool off on a hot day. If it wasn't for that, it could go.

Backlot Tour-I agree not as good as it once was.
Sorry we just don't get a thrill at AK. It's our least favorite park, so it can all be changed. .

Hall of presidents is one of those things that walt started Abe was one of his most advanced animatronics. I like hall of presidents we always go see it. The carousel is also nostalgic and gives fantasyland something different, another thing that walt liked. MK has an arcade because its part of the theme Main Street is a replica of walt's Town. I think the arcade should be there it adds to the immersive ness I don't go in there often or at all really but I know its there. It's part of the history.

Thats the beauty of its a small world it's another one of walt's big things disney just had a big celebration for the 50th anniversary I love its a small world ride it every time I'm in WDW. It is outdated but not every ride needs to be 3D and the most advanced thing possible. Also it has come a long want from the original version 50 years ago.

Country bears just got a refurb to shorten it, I love country bears but they could do better with it.

I feel like they keep HOP more for nostalgia than for its big number of visitors. When I'm there it's always empty. Maybe just my experience though

I personally feel like Carousel of Progress, Ellen's ride and Backlot tour occupy way too much space that could be used for something else.
