Today is my 180 day Mark for my first reservation. I logged in at 6:01 and I cannot get a reservation for be our guest for lunch. There are no tables available. I just find it ridiculous and like there's something fishy with the system Thoughts?

Have you tried to call? I've generally had better luck that way. Given that I've got BOG lunch much closer in, I really think it's system not unavailability.

I'm hoping that's the case. They don't open til 7 to call, but I will call then. Here's hoping! ❤

I think its got to be the system. I was able to get BoG lunch for any day I wanted for our party of 8 and I didn't try until about 5 months out. This is for mid-May-early June which I assumed was more crowded than September.

sometimes they take a while to load into the system. For my december trip 'Ohana wasn't available initially and a few days later tons of availability

Since I wasn't available to get a reservation online I called exactly at seven and spoke to the reservation agent. She said that people who are staying on property can book an additional 10 days early, which I didn't realize, because I would've done that. Unfortunately the system is correct though, and even at 180 days out, there's not one reservation available. I'm honestly really frustrated. I understand the benefit of planning ahead, obviously, since I'm trying to do this six months in advance. But I just find this to be ridiculous. It's the third week of September. It's not even a high-volume time. Whatever. I know I'll end up getting a reservation by checking back a thousand times between now and then because I'm silly and want to go that badly, but it just shouldn't be that hard. Very disappointed and frustrated.

Awww...I'm sorry this is happening to you, keep trying (as I know you will) and if that doesn't work...on the day of, do a walk-up to see if there are any parties that food not show or have cancelled.
I will work out.

CORRECTION**any parties that did not...
Stupid autocorrect!!!

I'm sure something will come up!
We don't eat TS, so I don't ever make ADRs, but I was playing around as a "what if" for our trip in 107 days, and I had two options for lunch for BOG on at least two different days, and the second week of July is supposed to be a busy time (from what people tell me, never been there that time before). I think people book double the ADRs that they need at first and drop half of them as time goes on, which is kind of annoying!

Yes you can book from the day of checkin up to 10 days out on your first day. I'm still not sure all inventory has been released though, being fully booked and being not loaded looks the same to the phone CMs. Phone CMs are hit and miss and most of them have no clue what they are talking about. The one I got trying to book 'Ohana seemed like she knew her stuff and had been around a while and she said to me "I'd guess these were not loaded yet, it should not be sold out yet." and she was right. another phone CM would have just said "fully booked." You can't rely on these people. It makes more sense that it is not loaded yet. BoG can be hard to get but not THAT hard.

Keep checking, especially starting 48-24 hours before you want to eat there. People do cancel.

Also Sept 18, 19 and 20 show NOTHING available but if you go back to the 17th and earlier there IS availability. So maybe you can grab an earlier day.

It isn't 10 days "early". You can book at your 180 day mark, for up to 10 days. So everyone who's vacation starts the week before yours has been able to book your days since their 180 day window opened.
Aaaahhhh! Thank you for clarifying that! She made it sound like I could have called 10 days ago to make my reservations and that I blew my opportunity. I'm going to see what else we want to book and try and book it today. I would like to have one reservation per day if we can.

Thank you for the good thoughts and sympathy. I need it. LOL I need everybody to feel sorry for me. Ha ha Ha ha ha.
It will all work out, I'm just crabby about it right now. But really, thanks for the good vibes. It helps ❤

Phone CMs work in a large call center and are not the most knowledgeable.

I believe the policy is 180 + 10. Meaning you can make reservations 180 days from your check in for the length of your stay, up to 10 days.

For example, say your 180 day was today for a check in on Friday and youre staying for 7 nights. You can make reservations all the way for the length of your stay, through the following Friday, even though that's technically 187 days out.

Like others have said, jut keep trying over the next few days -- spots will probably open up. We had a similar situation with CRT last year. Nothing for a party of 8 at 180 days on *any* of our days. Tried again a few days later and had 2 or 3 options every day. I don't know what size party you're trying to book for, but if it's a large party try breaking it into 2 or 3 smaller groups and look for reservation times that are a few minutes apart. Since you seat yourself for lunch, it's not a big deal if your reservations are for 2 different times (assuming they're within 5-10 minutes of each other). The group with the earliest reservation can just get a table for the whole group and the others can join them when they arrive. While I didn't have a problem getting a lunch reservation for a party of 8 at BOG at 180 days, I wasn't able to get the perfect time for us when I initially made the reservation. But over the next few weeks I was able to move the reservation up to a better time for us. Just keep an eye on things, a time will probably open up for you.

That is the only day we will be in the MK Didn't buy a hopper ticket. There are EMH that evening there which is why we chose the MK for that day. I will keep checking back, I'm sure I will be able to get something. It was just super frustrating to have it literally be sold out within the first minute of the 180 day window. :/
