NICE brunch with 2 friends today; only a 2 hour one though...the nurse has to work tonight and needs a short nap before driving to Katy! We finally had a chance to eat at a small country restaurant about 10 miles from Bellville. The owner is a winner of the Food Channels Cupcake Wars and OMG, after tasting her cupcakes I can see why!

Finally got a chance to read this weeks local newspaper and Redstorm was named Athlete of the Week again for being named District Newcomer of the Year!

Proud of her but sad that this officially ends soccer season for 2017. She had a pretty darn good freshman year though.

We have a cupcake shop in NH that won on cupcake wars too. Soooooo good unfortunately it's over a 2 hour drive to get there but so worth it. Best cupcakes I've ever had. We take a trip once or twice a year. It's up in the White Mountains.

Bruins won in double overtime. It was a must win.
