Was wanting to get Disney Gift Cards today at the Gunbarrel Road Target and there were none to be found. Hope this is temporary...
I'm sure its is. Just wondering if you go through a regular check out or self check out there to purchase them.

I have used self check out whenever that started being an option to purchase my Disney gift cards with Target gift cards. If just using my Target card, I will use regular check out.

Using Best Buy to buy Disney Gift Cards works great.
I used my 2 $150!Bestbuy GC that I just got from Cashstar and a $5 Rewards that I had. The guy that waited on me was a supervisor and rang me up with no issues at all.

On Sunday I will do the Rite Aid Deal and get 2 $50 Best Buy GC and then turn them into Disney GC

Then when I get my 2 $15 Cashstar bonus I will do them.

And I realized today that I used my Chase Premier Visa and I will also get $6 in rewards also.

So my net for the cashstar deal $336 worth of Disney GC for $300 10.8% savings

so question for you experts that done the best buy gift cards. i was going to do the 2pp for both me and hubby, but we only have 1 BB member rewards account. if we put the same account for both orders to earn points (cuz we're greedy :)~), will that goof up anything? (would they some how match it as 4 for 1 person rather than 4 for 2 people?) or they don't look that closely?

You can't earn reward points on BBY gift card purchases so don't worry about it.

I'm not sure that's true. Literally the only thing I've bought lately from Best Buy are gift cards and inexplicably about a month ago, I got a $10 reward. Around the same time I also got a $10 off coupon. I went in and got $20 worth of gift cards. :)

Well then Best Buy is very confused because it states at checkout you'll receive 1 point for every $1 loaded onto the e-giftcard and in the My Best Buy program T&C it states "My Best Buy program points are awarded upon purchase of Best Buy gift cards and Magnolia gift cards, but not on redemption." And goes on to exclude 'bonus' points from gift card purchases but it seemed pretty clear gift card purchases gave points... otherwise why would it ask for your member #? Has your experience been different then?

That's pretty sweet. We don't do BestBuy a lot but hubby bought some stuff there this year cuz it's close to work so we may actually get to redeem them this time if we get credit for the GCs :) Didn't think about getting coupons to use too, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Sorry, I might have got purchases and redemptions mixed up!

Cool, I just checked out hubby's BB account and after the one order credits we'll be just shy of a $20 reward certificate.... first time ever I think :) So that'll be a nice little bonus to add on to the disney GC as I'm sure I can find something there that'll push us over the edge. Now if we'd get credit for both purchases that'd be better... still debating about just giving it a go a see what happens.

Sad I'll be sitting out yet another BB GC deal. I'm one of the few who cannot turn BB into Disney in store. I've been flat out refused on more than one occasion and there's only one store about 30 minutes from my house. All others are over an hour. Not worth the trouble.

My Rite Aid always says right away
"Just so you know, you can't use Plenti Points to Buy GC"

I use my points towards my AT&T bill
